YouZi's Animal Canteen (白柚的动物食堂), also known as Mr. Smoky's feeder, was a feeder on the Hello Street Cat app. It was possibly named this way as both cats and dogs were welcome. The feeder sat at the ledge of a river, where at early dawn and late evening, the audience could see a beautiful sunrise and sunset. As of February 26th, 2024, the feeder's app page had 51000+ followers and was the 6th most followed.

On June 2, 2024, the feeder was stolen, and the camera feed went officially offline on June 6, 2024. The Caretaker has since updated that they could not recover the feeder and that it will be offline for the foreseeable future.

Cats

Dogs

From time to time, a group of dogs, nicknamed "Cerberus", could be seen feeding at the station. Sometimes the caretaker places kibble on the floor to feed them, while other times the audience chooses to donate food. The dogs were observed to be rare visitors.

Members of Cerberus:

  • Mr. Inconspicuous
  • Mr. Cry
  • Mr. Scruff
  • Mr. Poppy

Note Translation

"Please do not hurt or harm"
"Nothing is the fault of just a cat or a dog.
It's all of the strays (existing) that is a problem.
Please do not harm, hurt, or kill (me) for nothing."

The image displays a close-up of an unknown black dog.
Around April, 2024, this poster was removed in an effort to clean up and maintain the feeder.

The image on the back wall as of April 25, 2024 says: "They cant talk but we can!"
"Animal cruelty (say no)"

The image on the floor says:

"Street cat
Strong appeal (for)
Anti-Abuse
animal
legislation"
"(No) time to wait (say no)"

Note: This translation may not be as accurate as possible, but overall it seems to support animal rights laws.
Note 2: These posters now seem to be placed in a lot of the most popular feeders, including Happy Canteen.
