All About Kenny

Intro

Hello I am Kenny the editor. I love cats. I currently have a Bombay Cat named Kona. I also have a black dog named Loula, but I understand that this is a wiki for cats and not dogs, so I won't be mentioning her much  :(

What do you currently do ?

I am currently working as a Server Technician at a Data Center, but I am pursuing my real estate license.

Hello other wiki people, Kenny here. I was thinking we could make a page with vetted Charity orgs on it, so if people wish to, they can donate to them if they so choose to. Now, the hardest thing about this would be vetting the organization. Here is a quick guideline that I think we should adhere to -

Is this company a cool cat?

Each section has a maximum number of points, totaling 100. Charities scoring 80 or above could be considered highly recommended, those scoring between 60 to 79 as acceptable, and below 60 might require further review. This system allows for a quantifiable measure to aid decision-making

  1. Legal Verification: Use the local government's official charity registry if available, or international databases that might list the charity.
  2. Financial Health and Transparency: Check financial details on GuideStar and Charity Navigator for insights into the charity's financial health.
  3. Impact and Effectiveness: GiveWell provides thorough evaluations on the effectiveness of international charities.
  4. Reputation and Reviews: Charity Navigator also offers reviews and ratings that can help assess a charity's reputation.
  5. Engagement and Communication: Evaluate the charity’s online presence on social media and their official website for transparency and engagement quality.
  6. Associations and Partnerships: Research potential collaborations directly on the charity's website or through news articles and reports on their activities.

Please note this is a rough draft and will need to be edited and tested before implemented, but I just wanted to show the idea I was thinking of. Please feel free to critique and comment :) - Kenny
