Ms. Chess is a common visitor to the feeder. Her name comes from the orange/brown markings on her face looking like squares on a chess board. She is believed to be Mr. Beef's girlfriend. They do not have any kittens together as Mr. Beef is neutered.

Ms. Chess is rarely involved in any disputes. She is believed to be the girlfriend of Mr. Beef, and has been seen sitting on him. She is notable for being the only cat that Mr. Beef is polite to, as he waits patiently for her to finish eating before he has his turn at the station.
