Hi! You could be right, that they are affectionate friends. The reason we say they're husbands is because that idea is popular amongst the viewers that document this feeder. We don't know if it's factual, but we include it; many cats' pages have theories or things that are not/cannot be confirmed as fact but we like to say for a variety of reasons. While of course we like to stick to the facts most of the time, this isn't a completely scientific wiki so we like to have fun with the cats' pages.
