A post from the Purrrr team discussing the Dispensers and sensors of the feeders:
How do we make sure the kittens’ cafeteria is always full? Well, It’s not magic—it’s smart infrared tech that makes sure the food keeps coming!
Infrared Sensors for Empty Bowls
When the food in the bowl gets low, the infrared sensor detects it instantly! No need for prayers—just a quick signal to remind the sweet guys in the live room and keep the kittens happy!
Dual Food Barrels for the Perfect Meal
The latest cat houses use infrared to track both kibble and freeze-dried food levels. If the barrel’s almost empty, the infrared sensor checks, but we also use an algorithm to ensure an accurate food level reading. When it’s time, the system alerts the team to refill!

A post from the Purrrr team discussing the resistance of the feeder:
You might see the cat houses every day during the livestream, but their thoughtful design might still surprise you. Here’s what makes them so special:
Weatherproof and Tough
Made with galvanized steel and a protective powder coating, the cat houses resist rust and withstand rain thanks to drainage grooves and IPX5 waterproofing.
The frame is crafted from fire-resistant materials and tested for UV exposure to ensure it endures up to three years of sunlight.
Food Storage and Feeding
Inside, there’s a sealed food storage box to keep meals fresh and a tilted, semi-enclosed bowl that protects food from wind and rain while matching cats’ eating habits.
Each cat house comes with a built-in water dispenser compatible with most bottled water. Simply insert a bottle, and the dispenser releases just the right amount of water.
