Poult is a small orange kitten usually seen on Auspicious Restaurant. He got his name for having a mustache similar to Mr. Turkey, and a baby turkey is called a poult.
It is speculated whether or not Poult is actually related to Mrs. Eeper and her children, Snowdrop and Cow Lily. He has been seen hanging around Mrs. Eeper and getting really attached, sleeping directly on her as well as entering or exiting the feeder with her. With her children, Cow Lily and Snowdrop, Poult seems to gain courage to eat with them around as he rarely eats on his own. Due to the differences in their ages and the notion that Mrs. Eeper wasn't pregnant very recently, Poult may actually be an adopted family member rather than blood related.
Behavior
Poult is usually seen sleeping, especially around the edges of Auspicious Restaurant. His behavior while awake is quite unknown other than grooming himself, but he does seem to be terrified of the feeder dispensing kibble (he seems to have overcome this fear). Like son, like mother, Poult often sleeps for long periods of time in the same areas Mrs. Eeper sleeps, whether it be the back of the feeder or the right edge. He likes to sleep either in a loaf or as a shrimp.
Appearance
Poult is a small orange kitten with a white neck extending to his shoulders. His back is completely orange. He has a mustache similar to Mr. Turkey, and white fur underneath and around his eyes that creates a sort of star shaped marking. Poult's right foreleg is entirely white, while is left foreleg is orange with white paws.
Sightings
November 2024
- November 9 2024: 12:33 AM (LFT), Poult was seen sleeping peacefully at the right edge of the feeder. After a blackout for a few minutes, Snowdrop arrives at 12:58 to eat from the right side of the feeder. Poult wakes up and sits in front of the feeder, and as Snowdrop eats Poult decides to munch a lil too. Snowdrop leaves at 1:02, leaving Poult to eat alone for a bit. After a few minutes he starts to groom himself before loafing again on the right edge of the feeder. At 1:11 AM Cow Lily appears to eat, but the power goes out and they both disappear after the lights come back on a while later.
- November 11 2024: 5:03 AM (LFT) Poult eats alone before sleeping at the back of the feeder, leaving after Cow Lily appears to eat. Poult then returns sometime later and sleeps in a shrimp position. At 7:46 (LFT) Mr. Butter (?) enters to eat, but Poult continues to sleep at the back. Mr. Butter (?) leaves ten minutes later and Poult is STILL sleeping. Food is dispensed but Poult only wakes up briefly at the arrival of Ms. Double at 8:04, she leaves four minutes later. Mrs. Eeper arrives at 8:38 causing Poult to get up and lick himself. He attempts to stretch his paw at her tail several times before leaving her behind at 8:41.
- November 14 2024: 4:02 AM (LFT) Poult emerges from the black abyss to munch. He sits atop the tarp that had been blown into the feeder the day before as he eats. He looks outside, quite distinguished with his pose and expression, but quickly leaves the feeder at 4:04.
