He is named after the fictional character Dr. Gregory House, from House M.D, due to their shared limp. Dr. House (the cat) has a deformed paw - though he isn't visibly injured and doesn’t appear to be in pain. He seems unbothered by the twisted paw and is able to move and walk around quite well.
-It is suspected that Dr. House has been adopted since he was captured on April 28, due to an online page of him stating that he "already has a family". After 2 months of no sightings, this is more than likely what happened.
