Revision as of 13:07, 20 February 2024
Purpose
The Mechanical Cell (also referred to as "prison cell" or "the cell") was an upgrade to the room containing the feeder that is speculated to be for the purpose of capturing a sickly appearing cat, Little Scraggly Guy (LSG), and taking him to the veterinarian. As of February 17th, LSG has not yet appeared and/or had the gate closed on him.
On the afternoon of February 20th 2024 local feeder time, the cell was once again installed by a human, presumably to catch Mr. Fresh; either for his adoption or for veterinary care as his eye was injured or infected at the time.
Later that day, after Mr. Fresh has been caught to treat his eye infection, it was once again dismantled and cleaned, with yet another can of tuna being left next to it, and with it being resupplied with a lot of snacks.
Function
The jail-like bars of the room's gate closes mechanically (assumed to be by control of the owner) typically creating a loud sound, catching and startling whichever cat is currently feeding.
Removal
On the morning of 18th February at 6:25AM, a man came and tore down the Mechanical Trap Room. The reason as of now is unclear. In replacement, a canvas was unfolded.
During the exchange it left a bowl full of tuna, a cat bed and a knife that is hidden underneath it.
Appearance
The cell has the same front and back walls as the original room, just with the addition of detachable gray metal walls and the removal of the blanket.
