Brother Styles, whose English name is a variant of his original Chinese name, "Younger Brother Hairstyle", and a reference to the popstar, Harry Styles, is a JianZhou cat that has been seen visiting the Ten Thousand Kitties House (万猫屋) more consistently as of late.

Much beloved in the community he originated from, he is commonly referred to as the "Male Star" equivalent to Mrs. Dress' "Female Star" nickname, and is also sometimes called "Big Plump" to Mrs. Dress' "Big Fat". Other times however, he is simply referred to as "Dudu".

His first couple of sightings notably dates back to when the feeder was at the old location, where he was known for taking care of Mrs. Dress' children. In particular, he's mentioned to have been a great caretaker to Mr. Heartthrob, who remains friends with him to this day.

However, due to several neighborhood complaints, the feeder was eventually relocated to the current location, which resulted in him not appearing for a good couple of months due to its unfamiliarity. This coincided with the initial launch of meow.camera, hence why Brother Styles' popularity is considerably lower in the English fandom compared to the Chinese fandom, where Brother Styles appeared on camera just as frequently, if not more so, as Mrs. Dress.

Behavior

As the Ten Thousand Kitties House's resident player, he's known for being close to and/or welcoming to every cat that shows up, sometimes even too close, as has been seen on camera thanks to his great relationship with Ms. Tie. He is great friends with Mr. Heartthrob and Mr. Edo, whom are always seen near him and usually eat after Brother Styles has finished his meal. He also doesn't seem to mind the presence of the local menace, Mr. Slam, as much as compared to the other cats, since he has been seen laying next to the feeder watching as Mr. Slam eats his eleventh meal of each day.

Though the caretaker mentions Brother Styles having a crush on Mrs. Dress, they seem to be in some sort of rivalry for the title of most popular cat of the feeder. Much like our lovable fatty, Brother Styles likes to sit and get pampered by the caretaker when they visit for the night, and has had dresses put on him occasionally. He also frequently gets pats by the caretaker, and given priority to eating the snacks in the bowl inside of the feeder, though, Mrs. Dress still remains first and foremost in the queue if she is present.

Brother Styles is quite the busy cat, so he doesn't stay in the feeder for long. Similar to Ms. Tux, he usually only eats for short periods of time but frequently throughout the day. Sometimes he doesn't eat at all and simply just came by to check up on things. Either way, catching him outside of the time the caretaker comes by to clean the feeder is somewhat hard, since there's only a short period of time before he runs off.

With Mrs. Dress' current health hiatus, Brother Styles has been noted to sometimes jump upstairs and lay on the cat bed there with his friends.

Appearance

Brother Styles is a JianZhou cat, and the only cat in the Ten Thousand Kitties House to be predominantly white in color. As part of the JianZhou breed's distinctive characteristics, Brother Styles has their racoon-like tail and several grey spotted blotches on his fur. What's surprising though, is that Brother Styles doesn't have a very obviously notched pinnae, of which is common in the breed.

He is comparable to Mrs. Dress in terms of size when she is wearing her dresses, but slightly smaller than her when she isn't, making him the biggest "constantly naked" cat in the feeder. He has light green eyes and a very pronounced belly. His left ear is clipped.

Sightings

March 2024

March 13, 2024: At around 9:45 PM (LFT), Brother Styles appeared on camera for the first time in the English community. He did not enter the feeder but did lay on the caretaker's lap for some time, though, not before Mrs. Dress gave him a good couple of swats to signify her dominance.
March 19, 2024: During the caretaker's nighttime session, Brother Styles showed up at the Ten Thousand Kitties House again! This time however, he did enter the feeder for a brief period of ten minutes before heading out. It seems he even brought Ms. Tie with him, but she sadly did not get close or enter the feeder.

April 2024

April 19, 2024: After a long period of disappearance, Brother Styles came back to the feeder on his own at 6:53 PM (LFT). He didn't eat anything from the food bowl so he probably already ate some time before, but it's nice to see him put some effort in for his fans.
