Raccoon dogs are a type of Asian fox-like canid[1], that sometimes appears in the various feeders. While they usually appear alone, they sometimes visit in small or medium-sized groups. In order to avoid them engaging in fights with the cats, it's recommended to not feed them.
Behavior
They are social between their species, and depending on the raccoon, they can be either competitive with the other animals or don't really care much for their surroundings.
Due to them being primarily nocturnal,[2] they usually appear at night.
Appearance
Raccoon dogs are easily identified due to them looking like a mix between a raccoon, a fox, and a badger. They usually all have similar coats and hair lengths, but there are a few exceptions.
Sightings
September 2024
- September 15, 2024: Three raccoons showed up to the Oil Card's Meow House feeder.
December 2024
- December 12, 2024: A raccoon appeared at the Meteor Cat House feeder during daytime, and ate a bit of food.
February 2025
- February 22, 2025: A raccoon showed up to the Spongebob Also Wants To Raise Cats feeder, and calmly ate some food likely left by the caretaker while a random cat peacefully ate at the the dispenser.
