The Dispenser is a machine in the cat houses that dispenses food and treats whenever someone donates through the Hello Street Cat app. Since donations are currently only possible for those with access to the official app, the vast majority of donations are done by the audience in China.
Food mountains
If a feeder receives a high volume of donations where cats are not present (typically Happy Canteen or another popular feeder), this causes a mountain of snacks and kibble that covers up the front camera, known as either "Mount Kibble", "Mount Snack", or "Mount Snibble", depending on the food. There is a common fear among the community that the dispenser will fill up too much and get jammed or break.
