Mr. Sweetpea is an injured cat discovered at the Duck Feeder. Not long after his sighting, a member of the DeMiaowa Discord was able to make a post on the Hello Street Cat app, bringing attention to the matter.
Sweetpea was presumably taken to the Vet for treatment but has returned to the feeder recently.
He won as the 2nd Favorite Cat for the Baldie Carrot, the Cats' Protector Feeder in the Hello Street Cat (EN) Community 3rd Weekly Fan Poll.
Behavior
Likely due in part to his injuries, Mr. Sweetpea appears to be sluggish, moving very slowly. He also seems to look around often.
Appearance
Mr. Sweetpea is a short-haired bicolor cat with his secondary color being either a desaturated orange or grey; he has a round face and a relatively stocky build. He is injured, appearing to have tattered ears, a large bald spot (possibly scarring?) on the right side of his face, a small bit of some unidentified dried liquid (possibly blood) on the left side, and other very minor injuries across his face. It's probable that this cat is very old, which would explain his appearance.
Sightings
- February 24th, 2024: Mr. Sweetpea's first sighting.
- February 25th, 2024: Mr. Sweetpea's second recorded sighting.
- March 5th, 2024: Presumably, he was seen on 3/5/2024, 10:43 local feeder time. He received lots of kibble. His right ear looked grayish.
- March 8th, 2024: He was seen twice during the day, once at 7:30 AM and again around 6:40 PM.
- March 9th, 2024: He was spotted at 6:00 PM, eating some kibble and waiting patiently for more to dispense each time it ran out, until he was full and left.
- March 10th, 2024: He was seen at 7:55 PM, looking much healthier, as he had a nice munch on some kibble.
- March 11th, 2024: He was sighted at 4:08 AM CST, eating kibble for an impressive 12 minutes. One of his eyes looked a little red, but he seemed to be eating happily. He showed up several other times later that day as well.
- March 12th, 2024: He was seen around 7:17 PM (local feeder time) eating.
- March 13th, 2024: He was seen around 6:47 AM (local feeder time) eating. He left at 6:52. He came back at 8:07 PM, eating for a few minutes before waiting patiently for more food. When more came in, he ate it for about a minute before deciding he was full, and left at 8:17.
- March 14th, 2024: He was seen around 1:48 AM (local feeder time) eating.
- March 18th, 2024: Around 7:21 PM (local feeder time) Mr. Sweetpea was very briefly seen using his feeder.
- March 21st, 2024: He was first seen at his feeder around 7 PM (local feeder time), and later at 11:47 PM.

Note
After some discussion in the Discord it was decided to remove all images, spoiled or not, of Sweetpea with his injuries showing. Not everyone is comfortable with seeing images of an injured cat, it's a sensitive topic for most and the wiki should stay safe for all.
