Mr. Long is a Chinese Ferret-Badger that first appeared on the miu宠乐园 stream, later this feeder was named after him on meow.camera, with Mr. Long its most commonly observed visitor. His name comes from his unusual length (But probably very usual length for a Ferret-Badger).
Behavior
Generally, Mr. Long seems content to spend a long time snacking from the feeder when undisturbed. However, he is very skittish and will bolt at nearby sounds, including the feeder dispenser.
Appearance
Mr. Long is very long. He has a long snout ending in a pink nose with black patches on his snout and forehead, with a heart shape between his eyes. His body is mostly brown with some long streaks.
Sightings
- 3/9/24: 1:00 AM (CST) First known sighting. Mr. Long ate from the smaller food bowl at his feeder for about 10 minutes.
- 3/18/24: 4:00 AM (CST) Mr. Long entered the feeder and ate happily for about 15 minutes before leaving.
- 3/19/24: 3:00 AM (CST) Mr. Long was eating kibbles for about 10 minutes, then heard something and left the feeder.
- 3/20/24: 10:15 PM (CST) Mr. Long was spotted snacking from the contents of another food bowl in the feeder, before seemingly looking around frantically and running off into the long night.
- 3/21/24: 6:00 AM (CST) Mr. Long returned to the feeder in the long morning hours and spent some time munching before being spooked by the feeder and running off.
- 3/23/24: 3:00 AM (CST) Mr. Long was seen munching at the nearly-empty feeder before being spooked by a donator dropping kibble, and taking a long stride off into the night.
- 3/25/24: 5:00 AM (CST) Mr. Long was spotted briefly bouncing around the feeder, eating from the secondary food bowl.
(Not every cat sighting is documented.)
