Mr. Yankee, named after his first striking and intimidating appearance, leaves the impression reminiscent of the stereotypical portrayal of school gangsters within Japanese Mangas. He has been dubbed the “leader” of his respective feeder group, Bingbing Team - Finds Home for Stray Cats, and his appearances at the feeder are known to send shockwaves amongst the audiences due to his sheer dominance.
He can be predominantly seen at (https://meow.camera/viewer/#4769575307337637658 (Feeder 1)) + (https://meow.camera/viewer/#4769593861588082719 (Feeder 2)), both feeders under the same rescue jurisdiction.
Behavior
His first seen appearance at the feeder showcased him simply glaring into the camera, showcasing his pure intimidation skills. However, recent sightings of him at the feeder have shown that the boss is truly laid-back. He enjoys his surroundings by frequently sleeping around his feeders.
Appearance
Mr. Yankee is a dark gray tuxedo cat, with puffy cheeks and fierce eyes. His fur pattern can deepen in ranges of intensity, as in some lightings his fur looks a lighter gray, while in others his fur can look quite dark. Notably, he can primarily be identified from his distinct markings on his face, a white pattern similar to waves and the full blotches of white fur against his gray fur, and his eyes if staring directly at the camera.
Sightings
- April 26th, 2024: Mr. Yankee was first documented in a photo, in which he stared fiercely at the feeder's camera (1:12PM: UTC +8). Not much is known about this sighting, as he left the feeder shortly after this photo was taken, and viewers were left to search diligently for the Yankee. [Feeder 2 sighting]
- April 28th, 2024: The Yankster was seen at Feeder 1 around 12:00PM (UTC +8), it was presumed that he was taking a day off, as he was sleeping the day away until the caretakers arrived, and more cats swarmed around the feeder. He left when the commotion started.
- April 29th, 2024: Around the corner of Feeder 1's top view, around 11:40AM (UTC +8), Mr. Yankee was seen deep in sleep, accompanied by Mr. Boss sleeping in the feeder itself. He was so deep in sleep, his sleeping posture was seen to be similar to one of a log.
- May 5th, 2024: At Feeder 1, around 9:30AM (UTC +8), Mr. Yankee was seen diligently grooming himself and eating. The audience theorized that he was readying himself for a fight, or simply taking a very very thorough shower. His preparation did not go unnoticed by the audience.
- May 5th, 2024: A Feeder 1 sighting around 1:16PM (UTC +8), Mr. Yankee had a quick stop at the feeder to eat, and got snacked in the process.
- May 6th, 2024: Stepping foot into the feeder around 12:19AM (UTC +8), the sir had a quick run to the feeder to have his fill of kibble. He left soon after.
