Mr. Sweetpea is an injured cat discovered at the Duck Feeder. Not long after his sighting, a member of the DeMiaowa Discord was able to make a post on the Hello Street Cat app, bringing attention to the matter.

Sweetpea was presumably taken to the Vet for treatment but has returned to the feeder recently.

He won as the 2nd Favorite Cat for the Baldie Carrot, the Cats' Protector Feeder in the Hello Street Cat (EN) Community 3rd Weekly Fan Poll.

Behavior

Likely due in part to his injuries, Mr. Sweetpea appears to be sluggish, moving very slowly. He also seems to look around often.

Appearance

Mr. Sweetpea is a short-haired bicolor cat with his secondary color being either a desaturated orange or grey; he has a round face and a relatively stocky build. He is injured, appearing to have tattered ears, a large bald spot (possibly scarring?) on the right side of his face, a small bit of some unidentified dried liquid (possibly blood) on the left side, and other very minor injuries across his face. It's probable that this cat is very old, which would explain his appearance.

February 2024

• February 24, 2024: Mr. Sweetpea's first sighting.
• February 25, 2024: Mr. Sweetpea's second recorded sighting.

March 2024

• March 05, 2024: At 10:43 AM (LFT), Mr. Sweetpea was seen again. He received lots of kibble. His right ear looked grayish.
• March 08, 2024: At 07:30 AM (LFT), Mr. Sweetpea was spotted. He was seen again around 06:40 PM (LFT).
• March 09, 2024: At 06:00 PM (LFT), Mr. Sweetpea was seen eating some kibble and waiting patiently for more to dispense each time it ran out, until he was full and left.
• March 10, 2024: He was seen at 07:55 PM (LFT), looking much healthier, as he had a nice munch on some kibble.
• March 11, 2024: He was sighted at 04:08 AM (LFT), eating kibble for an impressive 12 minutes. One of his eyes looked a little red, but he seemed to be eating happily. He showed up several other times later that day as well.
• March 12, 2024: He was seen around 07:17 PM (LFT) eating.
• March 13, 2024: He was seen around 06:47 AM (LFT) eating. He left at 06:52 AM (LFT). He came back at 08:07 PM (LFT), eating for a few minutes before waiting patiently for more food. When more came in, he ate it for about a minute before deciding he was full, and left at 08:17 (LFT).
• March 14, 2024: He was seen around 01:48 AM (LFT) eating.
• March 18, 2024: Around 07:21 PM (LFT) Mr. Sweetpea was very briefly seen using his feeder.
• March 21, 2024: He was first seen at his feeder around 07:00 PM (LFT), and later at 11:47 PM (LFT).
• March 22, 2024: Mr. Sweetpea arrived at 02:00 AM (LFT), right after Mr. Horseshoe left the bowl. He looked visibly healthier, now being able to open both of his eyes. He sat and ate kibble for a couple minutes before leaving.
• March 24, 2024: At 04:15 PM (LFT), Mr. Sweetpea was seen waiting at the feeder for it to dispense food. Once it did, he cleaned out the snacks then fled the scene.

April 2024

• April 01, 2024: At 03:38 PM (LFT), Mr. Sweetpea was spotted at the feeder looking around before approaching the kibble and munching down for a while. Once the kibble had ran out, he patiently waited for the food to dispense. When it did, he ate for a few more minutes before swiftly leaving.
• May 06, 2024: Mr. Sweetpea possibly arrived at 07:20 PM (LFT).
• May 07, 2024: Mr. Sweetpea arrived at 11:54 PM (LFT) and left.
• May 08, 2024: At 10:05 PM (LFT), Mr. Sweetpea was spotted sitting at the feeder, waiting for more food to be dispensed. After a few minutes of waiting with no donations arriving, he ate what was in the feeder and loitered around for a bit longer before leaving.
