Chicken Gnocchi Soup is a cat that is part of the "Soup Club" menu. Her first documented sighting was at April 14, 2024, 05:00 AM (LFT). At this time she appeared cautious; she smelled the feeder and proceeded to sit down and stare at the camera, with a look that can only be described as the opposite of Brother Calm.

Behavior

Like the other cats of the feeder, Chicken Gnocchi looks from beyond the feeder to the side, but instead of having a scared look she has a SCARY look. This cat, while she does not seek violence, she will for sure attack other cats if they approach the kibble while she is sitting there. (she attacked Snail Soup after it respectfully and calmly got close to the kibble).

Appearance

Chicken Gnocchi Soup is an all white cat with sharp features. She looks like an owl due to her widening her eyes 'O˕O'.

April 2024

• April 14, 2024: At 05:00 AM (LFT), Chicken Gnocchi Soup walked up to the feeder, inspected it and sat down.
• April 16, 2024: At 07:00 AM (LFT), Chicken Gnocchi Soup ate and looked around with her big eyes. She laid down for a bit and then punched poor little Snail Soup.
• April 17, 2024: At 06:10 PM (LFT), Chicken Gnocchi Soup came and ate some kibble.

About The Soup

• Gnocchi are a varied family of dumpling in Italian cuisine. They are made of small lumps of dough, such as those composed of a simple combination of wheat flour, potato, egg, and salt. Gnocchi are commonly cooked in salted boiling water and then dressed with various sauces. They are usually eaten as a first course as an alternative to pasta.

Ingredients

• 3-4 boneless skinless chicken breasts - cooked and diced
• 1 stalk of celery - chopped
• ½ white onion - diced
• 2 teaspoons minced garlic
• ½ cup shredded carrots
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• 4 cups low sodium chicken broth
• salt and pepper - to taste
• 1 teaspoon thyme
• 16 ounces potato gnocchi
• 2 cups half and half - see note
• 1 cup fresh spinach - roughly chopped

Instructions

• Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add celery, onions, garlic, and carrots and sauté for 2-3 minutes until onions are translucent.
• Add chicken, chicken broth, salt, pepper, and thyme, bring to a boil, then gently stir in gnocchi. Boil for 3-4 minutes longer before reducing heat to a simmer and cooking for 10 minutes.
• Stir in half and half and spinach and cook another 1-2 minutes until spinach is tender. Taste, add salt and pepper if needed, and serve.
