Guardian, knight, super hero, disciple, overseer, alarm clock...none of these words can truly capture the diligence and dedication of Ms. Mew. She is unparalleled by any other in the HSC universe in her steadfast nature and unwavering fulfillment of her self designated role. She spends most of the day sitting in the feeder, guarding and watching it. It's unknown why she started doing this, if there even is a reason other than being born with a strong sense of purpose. In addition to guarding, she is always on the alert for any kibble drops. If kibble is dispensed, she will meow 1-5 times to try and communicate to her mother or other cats that there's more food, yay! She will do this even if there was already kibble in the bowl. She's also rather quick witted for her age. On days of particular stress or caution, she can be seen hiding herself within the tall grass by the feeder, tactically remaining hidden while still guarding. Sometimes during long shifts of protecting the feeder, she'll meditate, imitating the ways of [[Brother Calm]], which is where her other name/title "The Little Disciple" comes from. | Guardian, knight, super hero, disciple, overseer, alarm clock...none of these words can truly capture the diligence and dedication of Ms. Mew. Ms. Mew, The Little Disciple and Guardian Alarm Clock, is a kitten first spotted sometime in early May at the feeder named "咘咘的爱心小窝". She was given her name and honorable title for her actions of guarding the feeder and sounding the alarm for other cats when more kibble dropped.
Behavior
Sometimes during long shifts of protecting the feeder, she'll meditate, imitating the ways of Brother Calm, which is where her other name/title "The Little Disciple" comes from.
Appearance
Ms. Mew's fur is a diluted calico pattern. She's predominantly reddish-brown on the backside with darker and lighter patches, while her limbs are white. She has very well-defined eyes and a cute pink nose.
Sightings
May 2024
- May 28, 2024: Sometime during the night (LFT) Ms. Mew was seen alerting her (presumably) mother to a kibble dispense very loudly.
June 2024
- June 15, 2024: At 6:51 AM (LFT) Ms. Mew was spotted sitting within the tall grass next to the feeder, camouflaging herself while watching the area.
- June 16, 2024: At 2:02 AM (LFT) Ms. Mew conducted a lengthy night shift of guarding the feeder. She made to sure to notify local residents many times anytime kibble was dispensed.
- June 19, 2024: Around 4:00 PM (LFT) Ms. Mew was heard meowing while partaking in some recently dispensed kibble.
- Later that night, Ms. Mew was seen guarding again. She did a several hour long shift, meditating at times. At one point she was so intune with herself and with space and time itself that she truly resembled Brother Calm.
- June 20, 2024: Ms. Mew was seen guarding the feeder during lunch time (noon LFT), enjoying the windy weather while doing so.
- June 29, 2024: At 10:11 PM (LFT) Ms. Mew once again was nobly protecting the feeder. She (rightfully) felt extra heroic that day and posed for the camera.
- July 01, 2024: Ms. Mew was finally caught after over 24 hours of attempts at doing so. She was taken by rescuers to receive medical care and be adopted.
(Not every cat sighting is documented.)
(LFT = "Local Feeder Time")
