Lil' Lynx
Lil Lynx is an orange and white cat first observed on the “Mr. Gunk” camera. Lil’ Lynx is named for its uniquely short tail, a characteristic similar to a lynx. Although spotted previously, Lynx’s first documented appearance occurred on April 2nd, 2024 at the 爱干饭的喵喵们 feeder.
Behavior
Lynx tends to make its rounds under the cover of darkness and is most often seen between the times of 8:30 pm and 10:00 pm. While eating, Lynx closes its eyes, steps partway into the feeder, and rotates and flattens its ears. Lynx also takes frequent breaks from eating to walk around the box, sniff the corners, peek its head out to look around, and even paw at the back camera. Lynx exhibits somewhat skittish behavior and is constantly aware of its surroundings.
Appearance
Lil Lynx appears to be an orange tabby. The top half of its body is mostly light orange, except for a large white spot in the middle of its back near the tail. The cat’s underside, paws, front of face (except for its muzzle), sides of head up to the ears, and partly up the back legs are white. Overall, it appears to be well-groomed and has an exceptionally smooth coat. By far the most identifiable feature of Lynx is its tail. Lynx’s tail is unusually short and appears to be less than 10 cm long with a single kink. Its bobtail shape is a known genetic mutation among several breeds of cats.
