Kenneth is a cat that appears at A Litter of Cats Who Love Each Other. He was first sighted by the global community on January 7, 2025.
Behavior
Kenneth is a very dominating cat. He regularly causes cats to flee from the feeder, although he is not as aggressive with his advances as Serif and Maurice are. He also regularly marks his territory on the feeder. While he clashes with most other cats at the feeder, he has a more complex relationship with Cob and her kittens, Hudson and Reid. He is not as aggressive around them (although he will still mark his territory in their presence), and the family doesn't seem to be as scared of him as most other cats are. On two occasions, Cob let him enter the feeder and eat while her kittens were sitting inside. Both times, the kittens watched him somewhat nervously, but they did not act in any kind of way towards him.
When he is alone at the feeder, he enjoys relaxing and taking naps, often while sitting up. He is willing to wait for long periods of time for food to drop, and is not remotely fazed by other cats approaching the feeder wanting to eat. He eats both snacks and kibble, and he is a big eater; one time, he ate 70 grams of kibble from the bowl all at once, then sat back and waited for more.
Appearance
Kenneth is a brown tabby. From the front, he looks quite a bit like Brutus, due to their similar coat pattern and the similar-looking dark stripes going down their noses. Brutus's nose stripe, however, is darker and more bold than Kenneth's, and her coat color is more gray, while Kenneth's coat is a warmer shade of brown. They also have very different back patterns, as Brutus has some tortoiseshell coloring on her back and Kenneth is just a brown tabby. Brutus is a little smaller, and tends to have more grumpy facial expressions, while Kenneth is very large and makes kinder, somewhat Rob-like faces.

Sightings
January 2025
- January 7, 2025: Around 7:40 AM (LFT), Kenneth was seen for the first time. He was standing outside the feeder but reaching his head in and sniffing the chicken snacks in the bowl. When kibble was dropped, he got startled and pulled his head out, but entered the feeder and began eating a second later. When chicken snacks were dropped, he pulled his head back out of the bowl in shock and stared wide-eyed at the bowl for a few seconds before eating again.
(Not every cat sighting is documented.)
