Mr. Crescent is a cat from Please Take a Seat. He was named after the crescent-shaped mark under his eye. He is notable for being one of, if not the largest cat at the feeder. He has been a regular for quite some time, first appearing in 2023 and continuing to visit until present.

Behavior

Mr. Crescent, unlike the other cats at the feeder, is typically seen alone. He is likely older than many of the cats there, and tends to be quite cautious whilst approaching the feeder.

Mr. Crescent has a habit of sniffing everything he sees. Whether this be the floor, the food, the curtain - he has been known to sniff them all.

Appearance

Mr. Crescent is a large, shorthaired cat. He is mostly orange, with a white muzzle and a white line going up his face. He has a small, orange mark beside his nose. The fur on his back has a ticked tabby pattern. He is usually seen with wide, dilated eyes.

Sightings

March 2025

March 15, 2025: At around 12:00 AM (LFT), Mr. Crescent made his first appearance at the feeder. He poked his head in from behind the curtain, before approaching the bowl for a meal. He would take a large bite before leaving.
March 16, 2025: At around 08:30 PM (LFT), Mr. Crescent paid a visit and ate up some spare pieces of kibble.
March 28, 2025: At around 04:49 PM (LFT), Mr. Crescent approached the feeder, slowly and cautiously. He would sniff around at the scraps of kibble left in the bowl.
March 29, 2025: At around 02:43 PM (LFT), Mr. Crescent appeared at the feeder, sniffing around the empty bowl. It seems he has quite bad luck, missing every instance of the bowl being full.
March 30, 2025: At around 11:20 PM (LFT), Mr. Crescent was eating at the feeder, whilst another cat waited outside. He really tested their patience, as he remained at the feeder for around 40 minutes.

April 2025

April 01, 2025: At around 03:30 PM (LFT), Mr. Crescent was sniffing around the feeder, ignoring the large pile of kibble off to the side.
April 02, 2025: At around 09:50 PM (LFT), Mr. Crescent spent a very long time sniffing the feeder's curtain. He would eventually decide to come inside, after investigating.
April 07, 2025: At around 04:15 PM (LFT), Mr. Crescent arrived at the feeder for his dinner. He chomped down on the kibble, getting rather close to the camera.
April 08, 2025: At around 03:25 PM (LFT), Mr. Crescent came to the feeder, staring up at the snack dispenser and licking his lips. He would, however, settle for the kibble already in the feeder.
