Mr. Wimp, a brown tabby cat, visits the Happy Canteen feeder. He earned his name after a particularly embarrassing encounter with Mr. Chicken, and hasn't been seen since that fateful day.
Behavior
Mr. Wimp approaches the feeder slowly and carefully, and will avoid meeting and interacting with other cats if they show up while he is there.
On his third visit, Mr. Chicken showed up while Mr. Wimp was having a meal. Mr. Chicken's mere presence was enough to send Mr. Wimp into a state of panic, where he attempted to exit the feeder immediately. Unfortunately, he tripped up and faceplanted into the side of the feeder, then slowly slid off onto the ground. After an awkward 10 seconds of Mr. Chicken staring in confusion, Mr. Wimp sheepishly got up and walked off.
It's rumoured that since this incident, Mr. Wimp moved to the other side of the country, changed his name and lives in hiding to this day.
Appearance
Mr. Wimp is easily recognizable by the distinctive 'W' marking on his forehead, one of the few W's Mr. Wimp can claim.
His back pattern looks a lot like Mr. Ribbon with a ribbon-like shape and light stripes. Mr. Wimp's pattern is a lot darker than Mr. Ribbon's.
Sightings
- April 26, 2024: At 22:04 (LFT) Mr. Wimp made his first appearance, cautiously entering the feeder and eating some kibble.
- April 29, 2024: Mr. Wimp appeared once more at 18:09 (LFT), eating some food and swiftly leaving.
- April 30, 2024: At 18:25 (LFT), Mr. Wimp entered the feeder, clueless, as his life was about to change forever. He started eating as normal. Ms. Chess and an unidentified orange cat poked their heads in to observe, however Mr. Wimp did not notice. They decided not to interfere, and left. A few minutes later, Mr. Chicken appeared. One glance at Mr. Chicken sent Mr. Wimp into a panic. He attempted to flee but ended up comically slipping and smacking his head against the side of the feeder, flopping onto the ground. After a few seconds, Mr. Wimp got up and left, thoroughly humiliated.
(Not every cat sighting is documented.)
