Ms. Sceptic is a cat who appears on 海峡爱心小屋 (House of Compassion by the Strait), also known as Mr. Shock's feeder. Her name comes from her moderately suspicious looks at the food or at the feeder cameras on occasion.

Behavior

Ms. Sceptic appears to be somewhat untrusting of the feeder's interior, sometimes looking into the feeder with her two front paws inside but usually deciding to pass on it. While she does go inside of it at times, she can put on a look which shows she's still not fully sure. She also sits at the feeder and observes, watching through the fence next to the feeder. She doesn't eat much from the bowl, but whenever she does, she tends to make silly faces. She is seemingly friendly with the other cats that hang around the feeder.

Appearance

Her coat is all orange and white, with white taking up most of her face and underside, orange dominating her back and the top of her head, while orange and white sharing the sides. On her right side towards her rear, she has a white patch with a thin line that continues down to her belly area. She has a fairly distinct face, having a white diagonal line across her right side and an almost white left side under her eyes with orange blobs surrounding her mouth and nose. She has a pink nose, a TNR mark on her right ear that she gained in June 2024 and partially red eyelids.

Sightings

March 2024

March 11, 2024: At around 09:00 PM (LFT), one of the earliest pictured sightings of Ms. Sceptic occurred.
March 12, 2024: At around 01:00 AM (LFT), Ms. Sceptic was seen making a silly face.
March 14, 2024: At an unknown time, Ms. Sceptic was once again observed. She later came back to the feeder the same day to sit and ponder.

April 2024

April 04, 2024: At around 03:36 PM (LFT), Ms. Sceptic arrived and ate food out of the second tub that was placed earlier that day by the caretaker. When she had enough, she once again sat and looked around, then eventually left.
April 05, 2024: At around 03:24 PM (LFT), Ms. Sceptic went into the feeder, gazed for a bit and left. She came back at 04:51PM (LFT) to peer inside, having her two front paws in the feeder, but left. She showed up a third time at 07:04 PM (LFT) to this time eat from the bowl, briefly mimicking Mr. Shock when kibble was donated.
April 06, 2024: At around 06:28 PM (LFT), Ms. Sceptic had walked past the feeder. She came back at 07:41 PM (LFT), eating from the second tub. After a minute, she proceeded to look straight into the front camera of the feeder as if she knew people were watching her. She then left.
April 08, 2024: At around 03:33 AM (LFT), Ms. Sceptic popped into the feeder for a quick snack from the bowl for a minute or two. She later reappeared at 11:23 AM (LFT) to eat for three minutes, peering over the fence and outside the feeder on occasion. She reappeared a third time at 07:30 PM (LFT), outside of the feeder, then noticing something behind her and going after it in the dark.
April 09, 2024: At 02:27 PM (LFT), Ms. Sceptic was seen outside of the feeder staring at something. She then came into the feeder to eat up for two minutes and left. She reappeared for the day at 07:12 PM (LFT) to eat some of the new food, but she didn't seem to like it and quickly moved on.
April 10, 2024: At 06:07 PM (LFT), Ms. Sceptic entered the feeder just as the caretaker had dropped off the tubs of food. She ate for roughly four minutes until she went back outside. She was then seen running back and forth, presumably playing with another cat, and came back again to the feeder in an attempt to chase down a fly.
April 15, 2024: At 03:38 AM (LFT), Ms. Sceptic came into the feeder for a quick pit stop of food before heading back out. She was later spotted at 04:27 when other cats were around, seemingly in a quite investigative mood while getting a few more bites of food.
April 16, 2024: At 03:18 AM (LFT), Ms. Sceptic arrived for a few minutes of munching, watching through the fence at times. She left by jumping onto the wall with the fence and squeezing past the feeder.
April 17, 2024: At 04:59 AM (LFT), Ms. Sceptic showed up for her usual early morning meal, having a bunch of bites of kibble, then the food in the plastic tub inside of the feeder, and then back to the kibble briefly.
April 23, 2024: During the early morning, Ms. Sceptic came by to eat and do her usual habit of peering through the fence beside the feeder.
April 28, 2024: At 04:55 AM (LFT), Ms. Sceptic came by to munch on the kibble in the bowl, at one point pawing at it for whatever reason.

May 2024

May 05, 2024: At 01:30 AM (LFT), Ms. Sceptic came to eat some kibble. Another cat who looks a lot like Ms. Sceptic came by a few minutes later and the two of them left soon after.
May 12, 2024: At an unknown time, Ms. Sceptic came by for her usual pit stop at the feeder. She was later seen again at roughly 07:30 PM, eating from the recently placed food tub.
May 18, 2024: At around 09:20 AM (LFT), Ms. Sceptic was spotted munching on the kibble in the bowl. She was seen again at 10:09 PM to munch on more kibble for two minutes before setting off.

June 2024

June 8, 2024: At 11:36 PM (LFT), Ms. Sceptic, bearing a new TNR mark on her right ear, climbed down from the wall and into the feeder to munch on the food. After a few minutes, she turned around to eat what was left in the tub, then back to the feeder's bowl before hopping back onto the wall to leave.
June 16, 2024: At around 07:14 PM (LFT), Ms. Sceptic appeared outside the feeder waiting for a currently unnamed white/orange cat with no tail to finish their turn. Ms. Sceptic looped around to the wall side, prompting some small growls from the no-tail cat. At 7:20 PM, Ms. Sceptic finally climbed into the feeder to eat up after the no-tail cat left. She also quickly left a minute later.
June 19, 2024: At 01:32 AM (LFT), Ms. Sceptic went into the feeder to grab some kibble all to himself, eventually leaving three minutes later by hopping the wall.
June 23, 2024: At 10:08 AM (LFT), Ms. Sceptic walked along the wall past the feeder and climbed down in front of it, then disappearing into the nearby foliage.
June 30, 2024: At 02:59 AM (LFT), Ms. Sceptic walked into the feeder and munched at the available kibble for a minute, before mysteriously vanishing as the feeder's lights flickered on and off. She reappeared at 03:36 AM, rushing back to the feeder to grab some more food, before being alerted to something on the wall side of the feeder, exiting in that direction to go after it.

August 2024

August 25, 2024: Ms. Sceptic entered the feeder at 05:35 AM (LFT) and ravenously munchmaxxed on the kibble like there was no tomorrow, she started clawing it and everthing. Too bad she left after one minute.
