Ms. Rattle
Ms. Rattle is a regular visitor at the Duck Feeder. She had been seen multiple times before she was named on March 10th, 2024. She is named for her tail, because it looks like a rattlesnake.
Appearance
Ms. Rattle is a brown tabby with a white chin. She has short fur and cream colored markings near her face. Her coat looks slightly different at night compared to day, so she can sometimes be hard to identify. Look for the black hourglass shape in the middle of her lower back.
She looks incredibly similar to Ms. Ink, and is often confused with her. As seen in the image below, Ms. Rattle has a lighter fur colour, and her forehead markings are less pronounced. Ms. Ink's fur, on the other hand, is darker and her face markings are a lot more noticeable.

- March 10, 2024: She was spotted at 08:09 AM (LFT), eating some food for a while. She came back later, at around 11:15 PM (LFT), to once again eat a small portion of kibble.
- March 11, 2024: Ms. Rattle was sighted at around 04:38 AM (LFT), where she ate for a short while and pawed curiously at the camera. This was the first time she had been sighted in dark lighting, and was hard to identify her at first.
May 2024
- May 6, 2024: Ms. Rattle sat next to the feeder, staring at the camera and waiting for food to dispense.
June 2024
- June 17, 2024:
- At around 5:56 AM (LFT), Ms. Rattle was possibly seen at the feeder.
- At around 7:19 PM (LFT), Ms. Rattle briefly visited to eat. She may have left quickly due to the dogs seen walking around at this time.
- At around 10:16 PM (LFT), Ms. Rattle came to eat. After eating, she seemed to have kibble stuck in her mouth/teeth, as she licked her lips constantly and tried to put her paws in her mouth. A piece of kibble dropped out of her mouth when she stopped, hopefully meaning she got it out. She left immediately after.
- June 25, 2024: At 9:09 PM (LFT), Ms. Rattle spent multiple minutes intently sniffing the feeder before eating. She left at 9:15 PM.
(Not every cat sighting is documented.)
