Poult is a small orange kitten, usually seen at Auspicious Restaurant. He got his name from that of a baby turkey, as he has a mustache similar to Mr. Turkey.
It is speculated whether or not Poult is related to Mrs. Eeper and her children, Snowdrop and Cow Lily. He has been seen hanging around Mrs. Eeper, and has a close bond with her. He can often be seen sleeping directly on top of her, as well as entering or exiting the feeder together. Poult has also gotten more confident around Cow Lily and Snowdrop. He eats with them around and rarely eats on his own.
Due to the differences in their ages, and the fact that Mrs. Eeper wasn't pregnant very recently, Poult is likely an adopted family member, rather than blood related.
Behavior
Poult is usually seen sleeping, especially around the edges of Auspicious Restaurant. His behavior while awake is mostly unknown, other than grooming himself. He used to be quite frightened by the feeder dispenser, but seems to have overcome this.
Poult often sleeps for long periods of time, mirroring the sleeping positions of Mrs. Eeper. He usually sleeps at the back of the feeder or the right edge. He likes to sleep in a loaf or shrimp position.
Appearance
Poult is a small orange kitten with a white neck extending to his shoulders. His back is completely orange. He has a mustache, similar to Mr. Turkey. He has white fur underneath and around his eyes, resembling a star shaped marking. Poult's right foreleg is entirely white, while is left foreleg is orange with white paws.
Sightings
November 2024
- November 9 2024: At 12:33 AM (LFT), Poult was seen sleeping peacefully at the right edge of the feeder. After a blackout for a few minutes, Snowdrop arrived at 12:58 AM to eat from the side, and Poult woke up to sit in front. As Snowdrop ate, Poult decided to munch a little, too. Snowdrop would soon leave Poult to eat alone. After a few minutes, he started to groom himself, before loafing again on the right edge of the feeder. At 1:11 AM Cow Lily arrived to eat. The lights turned off for a bit, and both cats were gone by the time it was bright, again.
- November 11 2024: At 5:03 AM (LFT), Poult ate alone before sleeping at the back of the feeder, leaving after Cow Lily arrived. Poult returned sometime later, sleeping in a shrimp position. At 7:46 AM (LFT), Mr. Butter entered to eat, but Poult continued to sleep at the back. He was STILL sleeping, by the time Butter had left. Poult woke up briefly at the arrival of Ms. Double at 8:04 AM. Mrs. Eeper arrived at 8:38 AM, causing Poult to get up and lick himself. He attempted to stretch his paw at her tail several times, before leaving her behind at 8:41 AM.
- November 14 2024: At 4:02 AM (LFT), Poult emerged from the black abyss to munch. He sat atop the tarp as he ate. He looked quite distinguished with his pose and expression. He quickly left the feeder at 4:04 AM.
