Papa Whispy is a cat that frequents the Kirby of the Beautiful Star feeder. He is partnered with Mama Dyna, and has four children with her. He is named after Whispy Woods,[1] a reoccurring boss character originating from Kirby's Dream Land.[2]
Behavior
Papa Whispy is a caring parent. When Mama Dyna needs a break from caring the kittens, Papa Whispy steps up, making sure they aren't alone at the feeder. He typically either watches over his kids, or cuddles up with them. He doesn't typically eat much when he is with the family, letting Mama Dyna and the kids eat before him.
Appearance
Papa Whispy is a domestic short haired cat. He has a brown mackerel tabby coating with zero white spotting, other than a little bit on his snout. The top of his eyes are on a slight tilt, making him have a worried look.
Sightings
December 2024
- December 10, 2024:
- At 02:53 AM (LFT), Papa Whispy showed up for the first time to international viewers. He arrived while Mama Dyna and his four kids were at the feeder. He had a quick bite, but moved out the way when Scarfy wanted some kibbles. He sat watching over the kids, before and after Mama Dyna left with Scarfy and Kabu. He watched over Waddle Dee and Waddle Doo for about ten minutes before laying down with them. He slept with them for a while to a point Kabu returned to sleep with them. Papa Whispy left after a while, leaving the three kids cuddled up and asleep.
- Later at 04:23 AM (LFT), Papa Whispy went back to the feeder, and decided to loaf around and sleep by himself. After an hour passed, both Waddle Dee and Waddle Doo returned to the feeder to sit with their dad. They grew restless after about twenty minutes, and started to play all together.
- December 11, 2024:
- At 05:15 AM (LFT), Papa Whispy arrived at the feeder while Waddle Dee sat at the feeder. He decided to lay down facing the back camera, and Waddle Dee joined him for some cuddles soon after. They curled together for forty minutes before Papa Whispy left for a bit.
- Later at 06:48 AM (LFT), Papa Whispy returned to the feeder with his kids. He had a quick bite after the kids ate, and promptly left.
- December 12, 2024: At 09:59 AM (LFT), Papa Whispy briefly showed up by himself to have a bite of some kibbles.
- December 13, 2024: At 03:03 AM (LFT), Papa Whispy arrived at the feeder with Waddle Doo. He was loafing alongside the kid, letting him curl up for while.
- December 14, 2024: At 05:06 AM (LFT), Papa Whispy showed up along with some of his family members. He was ontop on Mama Dyna, Waddle Dee and Waddle Doo, watching over them. Eventually Mama Dyna left for a quick break, leaving Papa Whispy to watch over the two kids. He continued to sit and watch over the two, and laid down after a few minutes with the kids.
- December 15, 2024: At 07:23 AM (LFT), Papa Whispy was spotted sleeping with Kabu, Waddle Dee and Waddle Doo. They were all curled up together for about forty minutes before the three kids left to do their own thing. Papa Whispy continued to sleep and loaf around afterwards.
- December 16, 2024: At 07:04 AM (LFT), Papa Whispy arrived at the feeder along with his family. He loafed in the corner of the feeder for a brief moment, sneaking in to get some kibbles while the kids were distracted bathing each other.
- December 17, 2024: At 04:16 AM (LFT), Papa Whispy was seen cuddling up with Kabu and Waddle Dee. The two of them were resting on their dad's belly. After some time, Waddle Doo and Mama Dyna arrived at the feeder as well. They all huddled together, sitting and sleeping together.
- December 19, 2024: At 07:39 PM (LFT), Papa Whispy was spotted curled up with Kabu, Waddle Dee and Waddle Doo, peacefully sleeping all together.
