Mr. Excavator became popular on TikTok when the account '@annettesullivan' made a video showcasing Mr. Excavator's strange behavior. The video plays with Plants Vs. Zombies OST in the background and was created on the 11th of November 2023. He was spotted alongside another cat watching him eat.
