Dr. House was a regular visitor at the Duck Feeder. He is named after the fictional character Dr. Gregory House, from House M.D, due to their shared limp. Dr. House (the cat) had a deformed paw - though he isn't visibly injured and doesn’t appear to be in pain. He seemed unbothered by the twisted paw and was able to move and walk around quite well.
Dr. House was captured to be adopted on April 28, 2024. He lives with a friend of the Caretaker as he kept getting into fights. His limp paw has been amputated.
Appearance
Dr. House is a brown tabby with a white chest and a white spot on the back of his neck. He has a distinctly crooked left front paw, possibly due to a poorly healed injury from the past.
Sightings
March 2024
- March 10, 2024: Dr. House was sighted at 07:30 AM (LFT), eating some kibble. He was sighted again around 11:26 PM (LFT), eating and leaving soon after.
- March 11, 2024: Dr. House was spotted several times throughout the evening, sitting on the ledge by the feeder. He eventually came down to eat at around 07:23 PM (LFT), staying for 5 minutes before leaving.
- March 14, 2024: Dr. House was spotted at 01:15 AM (LFT), eating and being silly.
April 2024
- April 09, 2024: Dr. House was sighted at 07:51 AM (LFT), arriving after a chicken ate the canned food at the feeder. He would then eat the remaining canned food followed by some kibble.
- April 14, 2024: Dr. House was sighted at 01:50 AM (LFT), waiting patiently for food until it is dropped on his head. He would then hiss at another passing cat before waiting for more food.
- April 28, 2024: Dr. House was captured in the feeder, and was given many pets before being coaxed into the capture bag. This is his last sighting as he got adopted. He now lives with a loving family in a new home.
(Not every cat sighting is documented.)
