Pot Lid is a white and orange cat that regularly visits the Warm Home Cat Sales Department. He has been at the adoption center since 2024. He is usually seen sleeping or loafing.
Behavior
Pot Lid is mainly friendly with other cats, although he has on multiple occasions been seen attacking Mr. Edible. He is tired a lot of the time, usually seen sleeping or loafing somewhere outside of the feeder or on the feeder mat.
Appearance
Pot Lid is white on the bottom half and orange on the top half. His face is fully white except for the top. His tail is fully orange.
Sightings
June 2024
- June 7, 2024: At 3:27 AM, Pot Lid was seen sitting with 3 other cats around the feeder, one of which being Mr. Edible.
- June 9, 2024: At 12:33 PM (LFT), Pot Lid was eating from the feeder.
- June 10, 2024: At 1:49 AM (LFT), Pot Lid was curled up on the left side of the feeder, close to Mr. Edible who was also sleeping.
- June 11, 2024: At 12:35 PM (LFT), Pot Lid was curled up on the right side of the feeder, staring at Mr. Edible who was eating.
- June 12, 2024: At 2:20 AM (LFT), Pot Lid was sitting on the feeder mat, watching over the other cats in the room.
- June 14, 2024: At 2:24 PM (LFT), Pot Lid was sitting on the feeder mat. He stayed there for at least 14 minutes.
- June 16, 2024: At 2:40 AM (LFT), Pot Lid was curled up on the right side of the feeder, sleeping.
- June 17, 2024: At 11:25 PM (LFT), Pot Lid was sitting in the feeder, although the mat was mysteriously gone. He was dispensed chicken snacks which he happily got up to enjoy. A tortoiseshell cat approached, who he ate with without issue.
- June 22, 2024: At 2:14 PM (LFT), Pot Lid was loafing on the feeder mat.
- June 26, 2024:
- At 9:52 AM (LFT), Pot Lid swatted at Mr. Edible to scare him away from the feeder. He did not want the food afterwards and simply walked away.
- At 2:21 PM (LFT), Pot Lid was eating from the feeder. Mr. Edible watched him while loafing to the left side.
- At 7:46 PM (LFT), Pot Lid swatted at Mr. Edible who was eating from the feeder.
- June 27, 2024: At 2:26 PM (LFT), Pot Lid was loafing in the feeder. He stayed there for at least 13 minutes.
- June 28, 2024: At 12:50 AM (LFT), Pot Lid happily loafed next to a tabby cat (possibly Heat Miser or Mr. Statue in the feeder.
- June 29, 2024: At 9:23 AM (LFT), Pot Lid sat on the feeder mat. Mr. Yolk approached him, but ultimately decided not to eat and left. Pot Lid laid down, content.
- June 30, 2024: At 1:19 AM (LFT), Pot Lid watched as Mr. Yolk was attacked by a big tabby cat eating at the feeder. It seemed like he wanted to eat, but did not want to suffer the same fate, so he walked away.
July 2024
- July 1, 2024:
- At 11:01 AM (LFT), Pot Lid was staring at Mr. Edible while sitting on the feeder mat. It seemed like Mr. Edible wanted to approach but was scared of him.
- At 6:20 PM (LFT), Pot Lid was sitting in the feeder.
- July 2, 2024: At 12:16 AM (LFT), Mr. Yolk gently patted Pot Lid on the side while he was eating. Mr. Yolk instead decided to stand guard for him and stopped a tabby cat from approaching the feeder with another gentle swat.
