The Rascals are a family of 4 kittens, from Cats Who Love to Eat. They are the children of Mrs. Side Eye, and are a part of the feeder's cat colony.
The Rascals received their names for their mischievous behaviour, often having high-energy antics. They were possibly born some time in June, seeming independent by late July.
Behavior
The Rascals are very mischievous. They spend a lot of time play-fighting with one another, as well as with other kittens in the colony. One of the Rascals, Mr. Piston, is especially rambunctious. He has tried to fight both other kittens and the cameras, and has even pushed his own mother off of the feeder platform.
The Rascals, despite their mischief, are very friendly. They appear to be good friends with all of the other cats, often sleeping or playing with them.
Appearance
The Rascals are small, shorthaired cats. They are identifiable in the following ways:
Mr. Piston - A brown cat with tabby stripes. He has a dark nose.
Tabby #2 - This cat appears similar to Mr. Piston, but has more muted stripes, white on his muzzle and a pink nose.
Flathead - A white cat with miniscule calico markings, only appearing on top of her head and at the very back of her coat.
Bicoloured Tabby - This cat is often referred to as "Side Eye Clone" for sharing the same coat colours. Their back markings form a "U" shape.
Sightings
July 2024
- July 31, 2024: At around 05:25 PM (LFT), two of The Rascals were spotted snoozing at the feeder.
August 2024
- August 14, 2024: At around 05:45 PM (LFT), The Rascals were huddled up with Mrs. Side Eye, feeding from her. Mrs. Side Eye would soon leave them to their own devices, after which complete chaos would erupt. A bicoloured Rascal began pawing at the ceiling, for some unknown reason. Another Rascal, Mr. Piston, was very interested in the cameras, continuously staring deeply into the back camera. Mr. Piston would suddenly begin attacking the camera, hitting and biting it. However, he got a bit too rambunctious, and fell off the feeder platform.
- At around 06:20 PM (LFT), Mrs. Side Eye returned with her Rascals. One of The Rascals received a quick bath from her. The family would leave, except the bicoloured Rascal, who stayed inside the feeder bowl to eat.
- August 15, 2024: At around 05:05 PM (LFT), The Rascals were cuddling with their mother, whilst Goblin arrived to eat from the feeder bowl. Around 10 minutes later, Mr. Piston decided to interrupt the peace. Whilst Mrs. Side Eye was stretching, he got up and pushed her off of the platform, causing her to leave in a huff.
- August 20, 2024: At around 04:44 AM (LFT), The Rascals were resting at the feeder, completely surrounded by Snails. They seemed rather confused about it.
- August 21, 2024: At around 12:40 AM (LFT), The Rascals were sleeping at the now snail-free feeder. They were huddled up on a wicker mat that the Caretaker had placed down for them.
- At around 02:45 AM (LFT), The Rascals were joined by Mrs. Side Eye, who settled down to nap with them.
- At around 06:53 PM (LFT), Flathead was snoozing by herself at the feeder.
- August 22, 2024: At around 05:00 PM (LFT), Flathead was eating together with another kitten - presumably her friend.
- August 23, 2024: At around 01:30 AM (LFT), The Rascals were all sleeping together, whilst Latte passed by.
- August 29, 2024: At around 03:39 PM (LFT), The Rascals were huddled in a big pile with many other cats from the feeder's colony.
September 2024
- September 06, 2024: At around 12:30 PM (LFT), Mr. Piston and a bicoloured Rascal were chilling at the feeder, with a tabby Rascal eating from the bowl. The tabby went to clean himself, and decided to also give their siblings a bath.
- At around 09:00 PM (LFT), The Rascals were cuddling together with the rest of the colony. A few minutes later, only the Rascals and some other kittens were left. They soon broke out into a friendly brawl.
- September 07, 2024: At around 12:40 AM (LFT), 3 of The Rascals were cuddling with some other kittens. This didn't last long, however, as they soon began fighting with each other.
- At around 05:43 AM (LFT), Flathead was cuddling with Latte and another kitten.
- September 09, 2024: At around 03:28 PM (LFT), Mr. Piston and Flathead were chilling at the feeder. Mrs. Side Eye was cleaning Mr. Piston, and Goblin also came by to eat.
