Mr. Cat, is a recent visitor to the Ten Thousand Kitties House, coining its name due to its splitting (fur) image to resident cats of the feeder, Ms. Tux and Mr. Edo, and its laidback attitude/demeanor (similar to one of a cat); occupying the feeder simply to eat and nap. He made minimal mess and was relatively respectful of the feeder space. Fans called him a mixture of the TuxEdo twins due to his fur pattern, and rat tail.
He is indeed a dog, and likely a young one, seeing as it is more or less, a Mrs. Dress-shaped dog. As the two share the same size in regards to their build/frame. Or, Mrs. Dress is simply a dog shaped cat, but nonetheless, Mr. Cat's build is petite and puppy like.
- Mr. Cat is in fact, a house-dog and belongs to a local fruit vendor, who keeps Mr. Cat off-leash.
Behavior
This peculiar fellow has been thoroughly distinguished as essentially, one of the honorary cats of the feeder. He's respectful of the feeder décor to the best of his ability, although his puppy-impulses have resulted in him clawing/biting at some of the hanging trinkets at the back of the feeder. However, he took care to not make a big mess of the food or the pads at the bottom of the feeder. Which makes him cleaner than the cats of the feeder (who frequently make a mess of the food, the padding, and piss into the feeder).
He also seems to be quite friendly, as when the caretaker finally arrived to the feeder while Mr. Cat was occupying it, he didn't seem fearful nor did he run away; warming up to the caretaker rapidly. He's chill.
Appearance
Well, he's definitely not a cat. Otherwise, he possesses a fur pattern similar to one of a typical tuxedo cat, with a white underbelly, and a white sock pattern on his front left paw. Due to that, he has been dubbed, the sum of a combination of the TuxEdo twins. But a dog.
Sightings
July 2024
- July 13, 2024:
- Making his first appearance around 07:45AM (LFT), Mr. Cat was spotted sneaking his way into the feeder, making sure to eat some kibble and sniff around the feeder. He left after finishing his investigation. No mess made here.
- He returned around 08:15AM (LFT), opting not to eat but rather, take shelter and nap momentarily within the feeder. Mr. Edo approached the feeder, and seemed confused at the sight of Mr. Cat napping. Mr. Cat continued to sleep. However, was frequently disturbed by the sounds of the feeder dispensing kibble. An hour after he entered the feeder, both Ms. Tux and Mr. Edo approached the feeder, looking bewildered at sight of him. The caretaker arrived shortly after, and Mr. Cat was chased out. However, he attempted to go back into the feeder during its cleaning, the caretaker took the initiative to carry Mr. Cat away from the feeder's vicinity.
- Returning back to the feeder, Mr. Cat arrived at 09:45PM (LFT), taking a momentary nap. He then began to bite at the hanging feeder decoration, the Loopy Plushy, and caused it to fall off of its hanger. Once it fell off, he left the feeder, with the Loopy Plushy in his mouth.
(Not every cat sighting is documented.)
