Mr. Mark, short for Mr. (Skid)Mark, named after a notable brown marking and shaven fur patch located on the area above his tail, reminiscent of a skid mark. His first sighting was not recorded, however the first recorded sightings of the kitty were on March 23rd, 2024 at around 2:40AM UTC+8.
- He can be spotted at the Lucky 7-Eleven Ⅱ feeder.
- After his first recorded sighting, he was initially confused for Little Fella, however the two are very distinct cats, that can be differentiated through different characteristics.
Behavior
From Mr. Mark's first appearance, he appeared to be a notably timid cat, constantly observing his surrounds, and cautious eating (most times unless it had been a notable gap between his last visit, or in more recent times after the Snack Ambush, he has been seen to be eating a bit more aggressively. He also tends to be skittish towards other cats, as he frequently runs away when another cat approaches the feeder.
- Similarly to the other ginger kitties at the feeder, Mr. Mark has taken a preference for the freeze-dried chicken snacks, only eating those.
Appearance
Mr. Mark is a traditional Domestic Shorthair, with a Ginger Mackerel Tabby coating. He has a slightly longer nose bridge, which can be seen at certain angles, especially when he is angled with one side of his face facing more towards the feeder than the other. Also possessing a defined jawline from said angles as well. Notably, he has a skidmark shaped bald patch of fur located above his tail. This mark is his name sake. Compared to the other oranges, his frame seems to be on the leaner side.
Differentiating the Gingers
Within the Lucky 7-Eleven Ⅱ, feeder, there is an influx of similar looking gingers, specifically Mr. Mark and Little Fella, who look like twins to a degree.
This is how to differentiate the two:
- Mr. Mark has a narrower and sharper jawline, with puffy cheeks. Compared to Little Fella, whose face is round all around.
- Their face's fur patterns have minor differences, where Mr. Mark's tends to be more disconnected and dotted. Little Fella's are more connected and cohesive.
- Both kitty's back patterns are very different, Mr. Mark's has fainter, less prominent stripes that flow upwards toward his neck. Little Fella's are bolder and more pronounced, like tiger stripes.
Sightings
- March 19th, 2024: It can be said that he was seen on this day through photographical evidence, however his full presence of eating at the feeder was not documented.
- March 23rd, 2024: Mr. Mark's first documented sighting, which was around 2:40AM (LFT).
- April 17th, 2024: At around 5:00AM (LFT), Mr. Mark was seen making his routine stop at the feeder, until he was ambushed by a flying Mr. Snack, flinging himself at him. The velocity of the ambush was enough to send both Mr. Mark, and the feeder flying.
- April 19th, 2024: At around 8:00AM(LFT) Mr. Mark approached the feeder and began eating the snacks. Hope he enjoyed. He ran away after Mr. Mane approached and entered the feeder.
- April 20th, 2024: Mr. Mark stepped into the feeder at around 2:20AM (LFT), he looked especially sad today.
(Not every cat sighting is documented.)
(LFT = "Local Feeder Time")
