Mr. Yap is a very silly cat :p

Mr. Yap was discovered from a random camera, and is a member of the feeder 遗弃的天使 (Abandoned Angel). He would not stop meowing and was extremely loud, and the meowing was seemingly pointless. This earned him the name Mr. Yap.

Behaviour

When he was first seen, he was meowing loudly at seemingly nothing around. He was periodically eating kibble. He seems to be very inconsiderate about his surroundings and those around him as his loud meowing would probably scare off other cats. It is unknown whether this behaviour is purposeful to protect the feeder. He is constantly making noise when he eats and is around the feeder. He likes to sit there for some time.

Appearance

He is mostly white, but bears greyish and black spots on his head. His back is pure white apart from two spots, his tail is striped and grey.

Sightings

March 2024

• March 14, 2024: Mr. Yap was first seen at 06:34 AM (LFT), eating kibble and meowing loudly. Very inconsiderate at the time.
• March 15, 2024: Mr. Yap was seen at 10:51 PM (LFT), pondering away while eating kibble.
• March 16, 2024: At 04:01 PM (LFT), Mr. Yap was seen devouring kibble and being very sleepy, sitting at the feeder for some time.
• March 18, 2024: 08:00 AM (LFT), Mr. Yap was seen practicing the teachings of Brother Calm and then entered the feeder, and started non-stop yapping extremely strange noises while eating the kibble, quite deep grunts and whines. The kibble must have tasted fantastic.

April 2024

• April 02, 2024. At around 06:00 AM (LFT), Mr. Yap was seen sticking his tongue out as he waited to eat. When the other cat left, he gulped down the kibble with gusto. This gobbling sessions would be cut short as he grew furious at the sight of another cat and ran away.
• April 16, 2025: At 05:49 AM (LFT), Mr. Yap was seen eating at the feeder.

May 2024

• May 02, 2024: At 08:59 AM (LFT) Mr. Yap was spotted eating.
• May 06, 2024: At 05:14 AM (LFT), Mr. Yap ate for a minute and looked to the right of his bowl, before walking away.
• May 14, 2024: At 07:34 AM (LFT), Mr. Yap was spotted meditating, about 7 minutes later he decided to dine on some fresh snacks making sure to grunt and "hmmm" his way through the meal. He then spent the next few minutes grooming himself in all his nooks and crannies before continuing on with his day.
• May 25th, 2024: At 07:08 AM (LFT), Mr. Yap approached the food bowl, he stood for about 2 minutes and then decided to rest near the food bowl, he rested for 10 minutes, then ate some delicious cat food, making his iconic noises that make him sound likes an old man snoring.

  

  Mr. Yap is often spotted relaxing and grooming himself.

• May 27th, 2024: At around 04:00 AM (LFT), Mr. Yap was seen loafing inside the feeder, happily sleeping.
• May 31st, 2024: At around 09:08 AM (LFT) Mr. Yap was found eating some breakfast, all while singing his praises in "hms" for his food, then he licked himself clean and decided to lay down for a quick rest; leaving around 09:24 AM (LFT).
