Mr. Peculiar Gentleman is an orange and white cat that regularly visits Li XiaoMen's Feeder for Orange Cats. He is the most frequent cat at the feeder, and can usually be seen sleeping or sitting politely. His name references the meme "this gent so peculiar".

Behavior

Mr. Peculiar Gentleman is tired a lot of the time, sleeping at the feeder or looking sleepy while sitting. He has been friendly with every cat he has been seen with. He does not seem to eat very much.

Appearance

Mr. Peculiar Gentleman is a fluffy orange-striped and white tabby. He is mainly orange, with white on his paws, chest, and bottom of his face.

Sightings

June 2024

• June 27, 2024:
  • At 6:05 PM (LFT), Mr. Peculiar Gentleman was seen sleeping in the feeder with his head tucked into the food bowl. His tongue would mlem every so often as he slept. At 6:23 PM, he sat up to see if he would get any food, to no avail. He quickly went back to sleep.
  • At 8:33 PM (LFT), Peculiar Gentleman was at the feeder with Mr. Average Gentleman. Peculiar Gentleman sat behind Average Gentleman while he ate.
• June 28, 2024:
  • At 6:30 AM (LFT), Peculiar Gentleman was sitting politely in the feeder, his posture resembling Brother Calm. He sat there for at least 30 minutes.
  • At 11:16 AM (LFT), Peculiar Gentleman sat in the feeder, watching his surroundings.

July 2024

• July 1, 2024: At 8:44 AM (LFT), Peculiar Gentleman was curled up on a blanket next to the feeder. At 9:01 AM, he got up to enjoy some strangely orange-colored snacks. After eating, he went back down to the blanket.
• July 3, 2024:
  • At 1:30 PM (LFT), Peculiar Gentleman was sitting in the feeder.
  • At 9:33 PM (LFT), Peculiar Gentleman was sitting in the feeder.
• July 5, 2024: At 2:11 PM, Peculiar Gentleman slept peacefully in the feeder. At 2:26 PM, he was woken up from his nap by something out of camera view.
• July 12, 2024:
  • At 6:34 AM (LFT), Peculiar Gentleman came to the feeder. He stayed there for at least 3 hours sleeping.
  • At 10:06 PM (LFT), Peculiar Gentleman watched his surroundings while sitting at the feeder.
• July 13, 2024:
  • At 10:03 AM (LFT), Peculiar Gentleman sat at the feeder.
  • At 2:42 PM (LFT), Peculiar Gentleman came to the feeder. He discovered a new tin of tuna waiting for him which he happily ate. Soon after, Mr. Average Gentleman joined him, who kept watch while he continued to eat. Once the tuna was finished, Peculiar Gentleman left at 3:00 PM.
• July 14, 2024:
  • At 2:27 PM (LFT), Peculiar Gentleman came to the feeder. He ate from a tuna can moved far away from the structure. After he was finished, he went to investigate if there was any food in the food bowl. After finding none, he left at 3:06 PM.
  • At 5:52 PM (LFT), Peculiar Gentleman returned, this time with Mr. Average Gentleman. They were dispensed food, which Average Gentleman ate. Peculiar Gentleman got tired and curled up in the feeder, which obstructed Average Gentleman as he continued to eat.
• July 15, 2024: At 6:29 AM (LFT), Mr. Peculiar Gentleman came to the feeder to sleep.
• July 16, 2024: At 3:37 AM (LFT), Mr. Peculiar Gentleman ate some shredded chicken from the feeder, likely added by the Caretaker when they last visited.
• July 17, 2024: At 3:54 PM (LFT), Peculiar Gentleman sat in the feeder, pondering. He seemingly continued to do this for around 4 hours.
• July 18, 2024:
  • At 2:46 AM (LFT), Peculiar Gentleman returned to continue his pondering.
  • At 8:24 AM (LFT), Peculiar Gentleman was sighted in the same position. At timestamps 9:22 AM and 11:42 AM, he was still there, which could indicate he sat there the entire time.
  • At 1:18 PM (LFT), Peculiar Gentleman was again sighted sitting.
  • At 4:21 PM (LFT), Peculiar Gentleman ate some food. He walked away shortly after.
  • At 9:34 PM (LFT), Peculiar Gentleman ate some strangely green snacks that had been added to the food bowl by the Caretaker.
• July 28, 2024: At 6:43 AM (LFT), Peculiar Gentleman sat politely in the feeder. He nearly fell asleep when food was dispensed, waking him up. At 7:01 AM, Peculiar Gentleman had fully fallen asleep.
• July 29, 2024:
  • At 1:10 PM (LFT), Peculiar Gentleman stared unblinkingly into nothing.
  • At 4:19 PM (LFT), Peculiar Gentleman sat on the feeder platform. He nearly fell asleep.
  • At 7:58 PM (LFT), Peculiar Gentleman arrived at the feeder and sat with his tail curled around his paws. By 9:10 PM, he was still there. At 9:18 PM, he laid down to have a nap. He was awoken by food dispensing which he got up to eat. At 9:56 PM, Peculiar Gentleman stared into the food bowl. He decided to have a bite of the kibble.
