Smidge is a cat from the Tanuki Squad feeder. She is named for the dot of orange on the tip of her nose. Alongside her brother, she has not been seen at the feeder for a while and her status is unknown.
Behavior
Smidge is more timid than her brother, Little Anarchy. Growing up she was more reliant on her mother Mama Bear. She is rather shy and will only engage with other cats if Little Anarchy is present. Otherwise she will awkwardly sit there and wait her turn.
Appearance
Smidge, still being a kitten, is rather small. She has a distinct orange marking on her nose (from which she gets her name), and orange behind each ear. On her back, there are patches of orange, with a particularly distinct patch running across her shoulders resembling an arrowhead.
Sightings
April 2024
- April 26, 2024: At 10:13 PM (LFT), Smidge bravely defended the feeder against the cowardly Watcher. At 10:44 PM (LFT), Smidge ate while her brother caused destruction to the feeder.
- April 27, 2024: At 06:54 PM (LFT), Smidge ate for a couple of minutes, while supervised by Mama Bear.
May 2024
- May 05, 2024: At 07:40 PM (LFT),Little Anarchy and Smidge figured out how to get under the plastic tarp to eat food alongside Mama Bear.
- May 06, 2024: At 09:38 PM (LFT), Mama Bear and the kittens investigated the newly renovated feeder. Mama Bear slapped Smidge twice, seemingly for no reason. Their dinner was repeatedly interrupted by Mr. Slither and Little Grey. Smidge was then left stuck between the two strangers, unsure how to politely leave the feeder without causing a fuss. She stumbled out, but not without a hiss and a slap from Mr. Slither.
- May 14, 2024: At 01:32 PM (LFT), Smidge was seen eating at the feeder, and Little Anarchy was seen soon after.
- May 21, 2024: At 06:33 PM (LFT), Smidge showed off her biggest growl and stood her ground. Either impressed or intimidated, Ms. Bounce and Ms. Leaf left her alone.
June 2024
- June 04, 2024: At 03:01 PM (LFT), Smidge visited alongside Ms. Leaf and Ms. Bounce, though Smidge seemed reluctant to hop into the feeder.
- June 07, 2024: At 01:38 PM (LFT), Smidge ate at the feeder, spending time with Ms. Fox.
- June 08, 2024: At 04:53 PM (LFT), Smidge and Ms. Fox were spotted at the feeder. Ms. Fox sat outside while Smidge ate.
- At 06:44 PM (LFT), Smidge emerged from the cubby.
- 06:47 PM (LFT), Mr. Slither appeared, to the confusion of Smidge. A few minutes later, Smidge bothered Little Anarchy while he ate. Later on, Little Anarchy was attacked on two fronts, as Smidge swatted at his tail, and Ms. Bounce swatted at him from behind the feeder curtain. Still at the feeder, Smidge was later sat at Ms. Fox's side. She waited patiently for her turn to eat.
- June 10, 2024: At 05:50 PM (LFT), Smidge played with Little Anarchy while he struggled with the plastic cover. Smidge wanted to join the feeder again, but was scared off by Ms. Fox.
- 06:12 PM (LFT) Smidge returned to dine on kibble before anyone could interrupt. She would then prance around outside while Little Anarchy ate, though this did not stop either her or Ms. Bounce from coming in and bothering him.
- June 11, 2024: 07:55 PM (LFT) Smidge and Little Anarchy sat and ate kibble side by side..
- June 13, 2024: 07:59 PM (LFT) Smidge joined Little Anarchy and Ms. Leaf at the feeder.
- June 16, 2024: 08:32 PM (LFT) Smidge hopped into the feeder and enjoyed some kibble. She was joined by Little Anarchy who seemed more content investigating the cubby.
- June 17, 2024: 06:32 PM (LFT) Smidge and Ms. Leaf waited patiently for Little Anarchy to finish eating. Smidge hopped up onto the feeder and ate from the bowl.
