Mr. Kiryu is a tiny white cat found at the Team BingBing Helps Stray Cats Find Their Forever Home compound. He was named after the character, Kazuma Kiryu[1] from the Like a Dragon/Yakuza franchise[2] due to his stare, which is similar to the character's facial expressions.
He can be spotted most frequently at Feeder 1 of the Team BingBing feeder series, and on rare occasions he can be found at Feeder 3.
Behavior
This cat has quite literally, only been spotted sleeping or staring at the camera. There is no in between. They've been seen sleeping at the Feeders for long periods of time, at some points sleeping for almost days at a time in the same spot. And on the rare chance they are not sleeping, they're doing nothing.
Appearance
Mr. Kiryu is a white cat with a small frame. This is their differentiating point from the other white cats at the feeders, as he is significantly smaller than the latter. Often times he can be seen sporting an extremely judgmental look at the camera, as if he is acknowledging and judging the viewers through the Feeder lens. He does not have a collar, and possesses a TNR mark on the tip of his left ear.
Sightings
March 2025
- March 26, 2025:
- Mr. Kiryu was first acknowledged by the English community on March 26th of 2025, at 05:36AM. He had been spotted at Feeder 3 intensely staring down the front-facing cam, his motives likely being after a snack deposit from the feeder. However his methods were fruitless and he left the feeder disappointed.
- He was later on spotted at Feeder 1, around 08:58PM sleeping. His slumber continued on well into the next day.
- March 28, 2025: Mr. Kiryu was spotted at 06:00PM sleeping at Feeder 1. It seems that this was a continuation from his prior spotting on the evening of the 26th of March.
April 2025
- April 03, 2025: Around 02:19AM at Feeder 1, Mr. Kiryu, was spotted sleeping again. That was it.
- April 04, 2025: This sighting seems to be a continuation from Mr. Kiryu's, prior sighting on April 3rd. He was first spotted on that day at 06:20AM.
- April 05, 2025: Mr. Kiryu, was again spotted at Feeder 1 at 10:43AM, where his sleeping ventures continued, though he was interrupted abruptly by another cat entering and eating from the feeder.
- April 06, 2025: His sighting was nothing different from his prior sightings from the month of April, he was spotted sleeping at Feeder 1 around 11:36PM, likely employing the early morning hours to get a peaceful rest. This time however, he was spotted with a sleeping companion, one of the Coffee Twins! (Ms. Shingiin or Mr. Kaikei)
