Mr. Simba is a white and orange tabby seen at the Duck Feeder. He was named on June 19 after Simba in the movie The Lion King due to his playful nature. His first sighting is likely to be wrong, as he has been on the farm since January 2024.

Behavior

Mr. Simba is friendly and playful with the other cats. He sometimes sneaks up on cats while they are eating, scaring them. He is very brave, and will calmly approach dogs or The Ducks while they eat. He is friendly with the Caretaker. He likes to watch bugs as they move along the feeder and will gently paw at them.

Despite Mr. Simba's friendliness, nobody at the feeder seems to like him, besides the dogs. Even those who are friendly to other cats will hiss at him.

Appearance

Mr. Simba is fully white on the bottom, except for a patch of orange on his back right leg. On the top half, he is mainly orange, with white reaching up around his neck and face. His tail is fully orange. He looks similar to Mr. Hurry, but can easily be told apart from their bodies. Mr. Simba is very small and thin, whereas Mr. Hurry is a lot bigger.

Sightings

June 2024

• June 19, 2024:
  • At 5:04 PM (LFT), Mr. Simba came to the feeder. He curiously sniffed around before realizing there was food, which he ate quickly. At 5:07 PM, he heard something and left.
  • At 5:44 PM (LFT), Mr. Simba returned to the feeder to eat.
  • At 6:18 PM (LFT), Mr. Simba came back to the feeder. Around 10 minutes later, he and Mr. Virtue could be seen running around together. There was no growling or meowing, which made it seem like they were playing.
• June 20, 2024:
  • At 3:12 AM (LFT), Mr. Simba was seen enjoying the abundance of chicken snacks at the feeder. At 3:19 AM, Ms. Fierce budged in to eat, so Mr. Simba left.
  • At 4:11 AM (LFT), Mr. Simba returned to the feeder. The chicken snacks had been depleted, but he enjoyed the remaining kibble. He pawed the food at the back closer to reach it.
  • At 9:05 AM (LFT), Mr. Simba was briefly seen following Mr. Bentley to the feeder. Mr. Bentley hissed and swatted at him, making him run away.
  • At 4:33 PM (LFT), Mr. Simba enjoyed the chicken snacks at the feeder. He jumped the fence to go look at something at 4:39 PM.

• June 21, 2024: Mr. Simba was seen coming to the feeder multiple times. Notably, a dog sniffed around the feeder while he was eating at 5:42 PM. When he heard it sniffing, Mr. Simba got a fright, but otherwise, he was perfectly calm as the dog moved along.
• June 22, 2024:
  • At 9:08 AM (LFT), Mr. Simba approached the feeder when the Caretaker was refilling it with food. He curiously sniffed at a rag they had left, but when they came back for it he backed away.
  • At 10:05 AM (LFT), Mr. Simba ate from the feeder.
  • At 7:02 PM (LFT), Mr. Simba approached Mr. Blotch at the feeder who got scared at his sudden appearance and ran away.
• June 23, 2024: At 4:30 AM (LFT), Mr. Simba was briefly seen watching Mr. Bentley eat in the feeder, before he saw something (likely The Ducks who were active at this time) and ran away.
• June 28, 2024: At around 9:07 PM, Mr. Simba approached Mr. Blotch, who was peacefully eating at the feeder, and swatted at him. Mr. Simba left afterward, allowing Mr. Blotch to continue his meal. Mr. Simba could be seen circling the feeder, waiting for Mr. Blotch to leave. He gave up and came back later at 10:30 PM to finally eat. At 10:35 PM, he heard something and ran away.

July 2024

• July 1, 2024: At 11:03 PM (LFT), Mr. Simba approached the Caretaker who was clearing out the Ants invading the feeder at the time. He was very friendly with the caretaker and kept getting in their way as they cleaned. After it was clean, Mr. Simba sniffed intently at the feeder bowl. He continued to stay as the caretaker left, allowing Mr. Sweetpea to approach and eat food before he did. Mr. Sweetpea was not so kind, however, and swatted at Mr. Simba as he went to eat himself. Thankfully, Mr. Sweetpea allowed him to eat in peace, and he left after eating at 11:42 PM.
• July 2, 2024: At 2:09 AM (LFT), Mr. Simba came to the feeder. After eating for a few minutes, he paused to look at something to the left of the feeder. He left at 2:13 AM.
• July 2, 2024: Around 11:00 PM (LFT), Mr. Simba was spotted lounging on the wall by the feeder. He probably ate beforehand. He left the view of the camera at 11:10 PM.
• July 7, 2024: Around 02:30 AM (LFT), Mr. Simba was spotted eating from the Feeder while also looking behind him from time to time. After he finished cleaning out the Bowl he left into the Direction he watched before. He left at 02:35 AM (LFT).
• July 17, 2024: At 5:47 AM (LFT), Mr. Simba came to the feeder. He briefly ate and then left a few minutes later.
• July 26, 2024:
  • At 6:58 AM, Mr. Simba approached the no longer missing Mr. Dao at the feeder. Mr. Simba seemed merely curious, but Mr. Dao hissed at him. The small cat decided to wait until Mr. Dao left before he ate himself.
  • At 10:30 PM (LFT), Mr. Simba used the feeder, stayed for roughly 5 minutes and left.
  • At 11:10 PM (LFT), Mr. Simba ate at the feeder.
