Mr. Mob is a sphynx who stays at YiShan Stray Cat Base. He was named after a character from the anime Mob Psycho 100, due to his markings that look like the character's hair. He has been seen at Feeders 1 and 2.
Mr. Mob was discovered at the same time as His Majesty and Ms. Steelclaw. Due to them all being sphynx, they are likely related.
Behavior
Mr. Mob is not often seen with other cats unless they are sound asleep. He is likely a shy cat. However, he may be warming up to the other cats at the feeder; recently, he has been comfortable enough to sleep in the feeder, not caring when other cats enter the feeder to eat.
When he lays in the feeder, he prefers to curl up in a ball, rather than stretch out.
Appearance
Mr. Mob is a fully hairless black and white cat. He has 3 black patches on his body; on his head, covering his tail, and a small spot on his nose.
Sightings
August 2024
- August 7, 2024: At 2:38 PM (LFT), Mr. Mob sat in Feeder 2, watching other cats apprehensively. He looked at food dispensing but was more interested in overlooking his new domain.
- August 12, 2024:
- At 10:50 AM (LFT), Mr. Mob ate at Feeder 1 while a cat slept beside him (possibly Ms. Lick). When it dispensed more food, he glanced at the other cat before tucking back in.
- At 5:13 PM (LFT), Mr. Mob sniffed around Feeder 1 while it dispensed food.
- August 14, 2024:
- At 5:46 PM (LFT), Mr. Mob was eating at Feeder 1. A cat across the room seemed to scare him with a sudden noise. He left this feeder, only to show up at Feeder 2 ten minutes later.
- August 15, 2024: At 7:38 PM (LFT), Mr. Mob was seen eating at Feeder 2.
- August 19, 2024:
- At 7:41 AM (LFT), Mr. Mob was seen eating kibble from Feeder 1. While he ate, snacks were dropped on his head; a few crumbs remained on top as he ate. He continued to eat, stopping to look outside several times. Eventually, he stood up, facing outside the feeder, and looked around for a few minutes. He left at 7:51.
- At 9:57 AM (LFT), Mr. Mob was seen sleeping inside the feeder. He was curled up into a ball. When kibble and snacks were dropped for him, he woke up, looked at the bowl for a second, then went right back to bed. Several cats entered the feeder during his time there to eat, but he paid no mind to them and just kept relaxing. At 12:22, he got up, stretched some, then laid down again. At 2:08, he woke up, sniffed around some, and looked outside. At 2:13, he left the feeder for good.
