Ms. Marble is a cat that appears at YiShan Stray Cat Base 4. She is unique amongst the cats at this feeder for her gray classic tabby stripes, which appear on her one side to look like marble stone or marble bread, hence her name. She was first sighted by the global community on July 23, 2024.
Behavior
Ms. Marble loves sleeping inside the feeder. She often sleeps inside the feeder for long periods of time in various silly positions. She especially loves snuggling other cats. She has been seen snuggling with numerous cats at the feeder, including Michael and Paul; none of the cats seem to mind when she tries to lay on them. Sometimes, when she's woken up, either by other cats or the feeder light turning on, she looks up with an annoyed face before laying back down. Otherwise, though, she is a very happy cat.
Once in a while, she can be seen eating from the feeder. She seems to have some trouble eating chicken snacks.
Appearance
Ms. Marble is a Black Silver Classic Tabby. On one side, her stripes form a swirl, looking like a marble pattern. On her other side, her markings are more hazy and spotty in nature. Her tabby stripes go partway down her legs. There is little black or white on her; she is mostly light and dark gray.
Sightings
July 2024
- July 23, 2024: At 4:03 PM (LFT), Ms. Marble entered the feeder. She laid down along the inside wall of the feeder, and relaxed happily as several cats went in and out of the feeder.
- July 24, 2024: At 1:37 PM (LFT), Ms. Marble was seen eating from the feeder while a gray tux laid along the back wall.
- July 26, 2024: At 10:28 AM (LFT), Ms. Marble was seen laying along the back wall of the feeder while an orange cat ate.
- July 27, 2024: At 10:56 AM (LFT), Ms. Marble was seen sitting in the feeder next to a gray cat. She soon snuggled up against the cat and fell asleep. Another cat accidentally woke her up when it went inside; she gave it an annoyed look then went back to sleep. Several more cats went in and out of the feeder as Ms. Marble slept against the gray cat, who also looked content with the situation. Eventually, during her slumber, Ms. Marble achieved a perfectly round shape. When she woke up for good, she looked around a little before leaving at 11:58.
- July 31, 2024: At 1:03 PM (LFT), Ms. Marble was seen sleeping alongside a gray cat while Paul ate. After Paul left, the gray cat moved into the crack between the feeder and the wall, and Ms. Marble rested her head on its lower back.
August 2024
- August 1, 2024:
- At 1:01 AM (LFT), Ms. Marble was seen laying in the feeder alongside Michael. She eventually fell asleep with a back leg up on Michael’s side.
- At 9:41 AM (LFT), Ms. Marble was seen eating from the feeder while a gray cat laid beside her. She then sat back and looked up at the top camera while another cat entered and ate. She eventually laid down next to the gray cat, and when Michael entered the feeder, she snuggled up against him.
- August 2, 2024: At 12:45 AM (LFT), Ms. Marble was seen sitting inside the feeder while a Calico laid in front of her. She eventually snuggled up against the Calico, resting her head on her lower back.
- August 3, 2024: At 11:16 AM (LFT), Ms. Marble was seen snuggling up against a gray cat while an orange cat ate. Ms. Marble moved positions and placed her back leg on the orange cat’s side while it was eating. She continued to rest as cats went in and out of the feeder; she didn’t mind when a black and white cat rested its tail on her neck while it ate.
- August 13, 2024: At 12:14 PM (LFT), Ms. Marble was seen laying in the feeder along with the Calico.
- August 14, 2024: At 11:24 PM (LFT), Ms. Marble was seen sleeping, snuggled up against Paul, who was also sleeping.
- August 15, 2024: At 3:37 AM (LFT), Ms. Marble was seen snuggled up against a black cat while Michael ate. Eventually, both cats left and Ms. Marble slept in the feeder by herself. When the feeder light came on, she seemed annoyed by it.
