Mrs. Decade (黄桃, Yellow-Peach) is a cat that frequents both of the Huanzi Animal Rescue Base feeders, but is typically seen on the first cams. She was named because of her age, as the rescue base owner mentioned she is currently ten years old.
Behavior
Mrs. Decade is a sleepy cat. During her visits at the feeder, she loves to laze around, have quick baths, and practice yoga for Cousin Chill's classes. She is not typically bothered when a cat tries to eat while she rests, and lets them do their thing.
Appearance
Mrs. Decade is a red & white tabby cat. She has a white belly and chest. Her most notable marking is her white face and orange snout.
Sightings
July 2024
- July 14, 2024: At 07:37 PM (LFT), Mrs. Decade entered the feeder and had a few bites of kibble, which was laying in a pile on the floor as the feeder bowl was broken at the time. She left a few minutes later.
- July 15, 2024: At 09:17 AM (LFT), Mrs. Decade was seen eating from the now fixed bowl while Cousin Chill snoozed off to the side.
- July 17, 2024: At 08:42 AM (LFT), Mrs. Decade was seen eating from the feeder while Cousin Chill and Mr. Swirly sat beside the feeder, looking outside. She left at 08:45.
- July 18, 2024: At 08:46 AM (LFT), Mrs. Decade entered the feeder while Huo was eating; in an unusual moment of goodwill, Huo left the feeder without incident. Mrs. Decade looked at the food for a few seconds, then began eating. While she ate, Radical Man entered the feeder and sat toward the back, watching her eat. She left at 08:51.
- July 19, 2024:
- At 08:25 AM (LFT), Mrs. Decade entered the feeder and ate a little kibble. She left a minute later.
- At 12:23 PM (LFT), Mrs. Decade was seen sitting outside the feeder, watching Cousin Chill eat. A minute later, she placed her front paws inside the feeder, next to Cousin Chill, as Mr. Socks entered toward the back. Mrs. Decade was allowed to eat first and left a couple of minutes later.
- July 20, 2024: At 07:43 AM (LFT), Mrs. Decade was seen eating inside the feeder. By 07:45, she had left.
- July 26, 2024: At 06:53 AM (LFT), Mrs. Decade showed up and had a quick sit while Azula, The Guardian, and Mr. Tarp rests around the feeder and its general area. She decided after a few minutes that she in fact was hungry, and got up to have a quick snack from the feeder. She was eventually swatted away by Huo, who wanted a turn to eat.
- July 28, 2024:
- July 30, 2024: At 03:36 AM (LFT), Mrs. Decade was seen sitting inside the feeder while Agent Mulder left. She proceeded to lean inside the bowl and eat the little kibble that was left inside.
- July 31, 2024: At 05:04 AM (LFT), Mrs Decade arrived at the feeder. For a while, she did a mixture of sitting and watching, bathing, and especially napping. Once or twice she would get up and have a quick walk, but would return for more sleeping. She would eventually leave at around 07:10 AM (LFT) to do her own thing.
August 2024
- August 1, 2024: At 02:59 AM, Mrs. Decade showed up at the feeder, and immediately assumed loafing position. She would practice yoga, bathe, and as per usual sleep. She rested at the feeder for a couple of hours.
