Nuan is a Tuxedo cat that appears at Huanzi Animal Rescue Base. His name comes from the Chinese word nuǎn (暖), which means warm/friendly; he's named this because unlike Yan and Huo, the other Tuxedos that visit the feeder, Nuan has not been seen regularly harassing other cats. Nuan was first sighted by the global community on July 17, 2024.
Behavior
Nuan is not seen on camera as much as the other two Tuxedos. However, when he does show up, he does not act remotely menacing; in fact, Nuan is quite the goofy goober. He often eats kibble and chicken snacks while making very funny faces. While he doesn't hang around that much, when he does, he has been seen sitting in funny poses and making funny faces at other cats.
Appearance
Nuan is a Tuxedo cat. Like the other Tuxedos at the feeder, Yan and Huo, he doesn't have that much white spotting; however, he still has more white spotting than either of them. His most distinguishing features are his bright pink nose and the white fur surrounding it. He has a white chest and a fairly narrow band of white on his underside. His front legs are fully black with white only on the paws; his back legs have about an even mix of black and white.
Sightings
July 2024
- July 17, 2024: At 9:58 PM (LFT), Nuan was seen laying beside Mr. Paw, watching Radical Man eat. Once Radical Man left, Nuan began to eat. He left at 10:02.
- July 18, 2024: At 1:52 AM, Nuan was seen walking through the feeder. He sniffed around the feeder for a second, then continued on his journey. At 1:58, he returned to the feeder, laid down, and watched various cats come in and out of the feeder. He groomed himself for a while, then left around 2:10.
- July 28, 2024: At 7:50 AM (LFT), Nuan entered the feeder after Yan left. He ate some, then left at 7:52.
- July 31, 2024: At 2:39 AM (LFT), Nuan was seen eating from the feeder while Cousin Chill stood nearby. He left at 2:41.
August 2024
- August 1, 2024: Around 7:38 AM (LFT), Nuan was seen eating from the feeder while Mr. Swirly chilled beside him.
