Ms. Chess is a common visitor to the Happy Canteen feeder. Her name comes from the orange/brown markings on her face looking like squares on a chess board. She is believed to be Mr. Beef's girlfriend. They do not have any kittens together as Mr. Beef is neutered. She is sometimes confused for Ms. Kibble or Ms. Texas.

Behavior

Ms. Chess is rarely involved in any disputes. She is believed to be the girlfriend of Mr. Beef, and has been seen sitting on him. She is notable for being the only cat that Mr. Beef is polite to, as he waits patiently for her to finish eating before he has his turn at the station. Recently, she has been seen accompanying Mr. Doom to the feeder, sparking rumors of a potential affair between the two.

Appearance

Ms. Chess is a brown and orange calico with tabby markings. She has a unique chessboard pattern on her face and hazel eyes. It has been noticed by many viewers that her stomach appears to be larger, possibly indicating that she may be pregnant or putting on more weight.

Additionally, a bird-like marking on her back was seen by a viewer, leading some to refer to her as Ms. Bird and Ms. Goose.

February 2024

• February 10, 2024: At 11:24 PM (LFT), Ms. Chess appeared.
• February 17, 2024: At approximately 05:17 PM (LFT) Ms. Chess appeared with another orange cat. It is unknown who this cat is. (Presumably Mr. Beef)
• February 25, 2024: Ms. Chess was sighted.
• February 28, 2024: Ms. Chess was seen eating from the feeder. Mr. Doom joined her and they ate side-by-side.

March 2024

• March 04, 2024: at 11:10 PM (LFT) Ms. Chess was again sighted eating from the feeder.
• March 05, 2024: At 7:19 AM (LFT) appeared near Mr. Beef.
• March 07, 2024: At 05:16 PM (LFT) Ms. Chess was spotted cautiously eating around Mr. Puke's puke for approximately 5 minutes.
• March 09, 2024: Around 07:18 AM (LFT), Ms. Chess tried to enter the feeder while Mrs. Kirby was inside, but Mrs. Kirby threatened her and chased her off. She returned at 07:22 AM (LFT), eating alone for a few minutes, before being joined by Mr. Beef at 07:27 AM (LFT).
• March 10, 2024: At 4:10 AM (CST) Ms. Chess was seen eating from the feeder for a few minutes.
• March 11, 2024: Around 12:10 AM (LFT), Ms. Chess appeared with Mr. Beef, Ms. Puke, Ms. Sleepy and Mr. Doom. At 02:23 AM (LFT), Ms. Chess appeared again with Mr. Bald, and after 4 minutes, Ms. Chess left and let Mr. Bald eat.
• March 13, 2024: At 05:17 AM (LFT), Ms. Chess was seen alone and eating from the feeder.
• March 18, 2024: At 05:19 AM (LFT) Ms. Chess ate some leftover snacks. The lights in the feeder cut out, and she was gone once they came back on.
• March 21, 2024: At around 12:30 AM (LFT), Ms. Chess sauntered herself to the feeder, eating away at the Mr. Worm-tainted kibble. She left quickly 3 minutes later, seemingly having realized the error of her ways.
• March 24 2024: Ms. Chess was seen munching on freeze-dried chicken while Ms. Pretty loomed behind her. This cat took over the feeder when it got the chance
• March 25, 2024: At 12:54 AM (LFT), Ms. Chess ate 💅

• April 01, 2024: At 10:53 PM (LFT), Ms. Chess appeared and began to eat, while a large amount of snacks were dropped from the feeder, some falling on her head. She ate for 5 minutes, leaving to make way for an approaching feline.
• April 4, 2024: Around 05:40 PM (LFT) Ms. Chess ate side-by-side with Mr. Doom. She was thoroughly dusted as they received many snack donations.
• April 06, 2024: At around 10:32 AM (LFT), Ms. Chess was seen eating from the feeder.
• April 08, 2024: At around 08:32 AM (LFT), Ms. Chess was spotted visiting the feeder for a quick bite to eat, while other cats patiently waited outside.
• April 12, 2024: At around 01:38 AM (LFT), Ms. Chess was observed eating, accompanied by Mr. Doom.

• May 05, 2024: At around 05:25 PM (LFT), Ms. Chess was sighted eating from the feeder.
• May 07, 2024: At approximately 01:32 AM (LFT), Ms. Chess was seen gnawing on some kibble. She seems to have gained weight lately. Ms. Chess later reappeared at around 05:10 PM (LFT) and ate for a few minutes before leaving.
• May 08, 2024: At 08:50 AM (LFT), Ms. Chess appeared and ate for a few minutes before leaving.
• May 13, 2024: At 08:51 AM (LFT), Ms. Chess was seen eating for a few minutes.
