Ms. Lag is a dark tortoiseshell cat who visits the Happy Canteen feeder. She is known for her mysterious ability to lag the camera feed whenever she appears.
She is often confused with Ms. Burnt, Ms. Warn and Ms. Rust.
Behavior
Upon arrival, Ms. Lag inexplicably causes the stream to lag (which may be caused by radiation from chemotherapy), which makes viewers think she could possess anomalous abilities, similar to that of an SCP. Typically, she is observed eating by herself.
Appearance
Ms. Lag has a black coat with two faint lines and an orange square on her back. She has a straight TNR clip on her right ear. She has an orange dot on her forehead, orange above her right eye and white fur on the left side of her chin.
Sightings
February 2024
- February 11, 2024: Ms. Lag appeared, and as a result of her unbelievable powers, the cameras and sound started freezing. She showed up a second time the same day, however this time she spared the cameras from her powers.
- February 13, 2024: She appeared again, causing multiple, frequent stutters in sound and camera quality.
- February 19, 2024: She was sighted again, where she would feast for nearly 20 minutes. Throughout almost the entirety of her supper, the camera froze consistently, with only ~1.5 seconds between each freeze.
- February 22, 2024: At 02:23 AM (LFT), Ms. Lag appeared and caused camera lags every 1.4 secs. She stayed eating for a bit of time.
- February 23, 2024: She appeared again at 11:46 PM (LFT).
- February 25, 2024: She was seen munching for 5 minutes at 04:47 AM (LFT). Surprisingly, she didn't make the camera lag. Maybe the wizards who gave her the power to interrupt radio signal changed their mind...
March 2024
- March 03, 2024: Seen yet again in the afternoon munching for around 8 minutes, lagging the stream again. It appears the wizards did not change their mind.
- March 07, 2024: Started munching at about 03:50 PM (LFT), and unceremoniously caused the stream to lag repeatedly. The wizards seem to wish to spite the wiki editor from February 25th.
- March 10, 2024: She appeared and ate for 3 minutes, this time not lagging the stream.
- March 21, 2024: She began snacking on kibble, this time able to make the stream lag severely. The wizards seem to have changed their minds.
April 2024
- April 08, 2024: Ms. Lag appeared at 02:54 AM (LFT) but miraculously, the stream didn’t lag. She was seen again around 08:23 AM (LFT), once more not lagging the stream.
May 2024
- May 09, 2024: Ms. Lag appeared on stream around 08:30 AM (LFT) at the Happy Canteen feeder. An unidentified cat was there previously, and the stream was fine. However, once Ms. Lag took their place, she began lagging out the stream until the stream would then stop responding for around 2-3 minutes, and when the stream responded back, she was no longer present. Weirdly, after she was gone, the lights started flickering for around 16 seconds.
October 2024
- October 27, 2024: An entity that looks surprisingly similar to Ms. Lag appeared around 12:30 AM (LFT) at the Lucky 7-Eleven Ⅱ feeder. During it's fit, it began lagging the stream again, flickering the cameras. After it's fit, a shadow of a cat has appeared around the feeder when no one was looking. This could be a supposed return of Ms. Lag, but it isn't really confirmed yet.
December 2024
- December 2, 2024: Ms. Lag appeared at the Happy Canteen feeder at 11:10 PM (LFT) There was little to no lag, and she left about ten minutes later.
- December 11, 2024: Ms. Lag appeared at the Happy Canteen feeder at 9:25 PM (LFT) her powers seem to be wearing off as again, there was little to no lag
(Not every cat sighting is documented.)
(LFT = "Local Feeder Time")
