Zuko
Zuko is a tortoiseshell cat that appears at Huanzi Animal Rescue Base. She is one of two tortoiseshells at the feeder; the other is Azula. Zuko was named after Zuko[1], a character from the American animated television series Avatar: The Last Airbender[2]. The cat Zuko has a poorly functioning right eye; the character Zuko's right eye was burned severely and has a scar. Zuko was brought in to the rescue center after going through a major injury, however she has since recovered and is now thriving with the other cats. She was first spotted by the global community on July 14, 2024.
Behavior
Zuko is known to be seen with a very sad expression; however, this does not seem to indicate a sad nature. Zuko enjoys sitting along the back of the feeder and watching other cats eat. She is not easily bothered by other cats entering the feeder. A couple of cats have sniffed her while she was eating, and she paid no mind to them. If the food bowl is empty, Zuko will not sit around and wait for food; rather, she will simply leave.
Appearance
Zuko's most distinctive feature is her bad right eye, which looks smaller and opens less than her left eye. In addition to this, she can be distinguished from the feeder's other Tortie, Azula, by the fact that Zuko does not have a giant patch of black covering the right side of her face like Azula does. Zuko also has a patch of orange that goes down her nose and is surrounded by a black patch in a rough J shape. Her back has a larger dark patch to the left, but is otherwise pretty orange. Her tail is black.
