Inkspot is a black cat first spotted June 6th, 2024 at the Huanzi Animal Rescue Base feeder by the global community. Their name was given due to being seen with Ms. Maple, then known as "Blotch" initially, as well as his habit of obstructing the camera.

Behavior

Inkspot seems to be curious and laid-back, though less outwardly cuddly than Ms. Obsidian. They’ll often unintentionally obstruct the camera.

Appearance

Inkspot is a solid-black cat with yellow eyes. They shine a little red in light. They’re quite difficult to photograph due to their extremely dark fur. He looks quite similar to Ms. Obsidian but you can tell the difference between their eyes as his eyes are yellow and Ms. Obsidian's are a light green blue.

Recently there’s been another black cat that looks exactly like named Sumi. You can distinguish the two by looking at their ears. Sumi has a clipped left ear and Inkspot has a clipped right ear.
