Mr. Fresh is a famous internet cat. He has risen to fame thanks to a video of him giving the camera a side-eye. He was named Mr. Fresh after his patient yet picky behavior regarding the food he will eat. Since he is such a celebrity, any stream in which he is sighted will increase in viewership considerably.

Mr. Fresh was previously a visitor at Happy Canteen and Auspicious Restaurant. Once he was taken in for vet care, he had a temporary stay at Brother Fresh's Last Day.

Nowadays, you can find Mr. Fresh at Brother Fresh’s Exclusive Castle CatMojo, in his new home.

Behavior

Mr. Fresh used to only eat freshly dispensed food. He would stare at the camera and, on rare occasions, even touch it with his paws until fresh food was dispensed.

It is said that he refuses to eat already dispensed kibble after eating a bunch that had been contaminated by bird poop. However, this was later debunked. The real reason behind his pickiness is unknown.

Recently he has been less picky, being able to eat the Freeze-dried chicken snacks without having to wait for donators to dispense more.

Mr. Fresh jumpscare (very scary)

He has been seen peeking his head near the sides of the feeders to check if other cats are currently present. He will not eat if there are other cats already at the feeder, and so he will retreat and return at another time, or visit another available feeder.

He is scared of humans, being scared away when caretakers encounter him when they arrive to refill the feeders. He was also seen running around when his adopters tried to pick him up for a vet visit.

Appearance

Mr. Fresh is a Domestic Shorthair cat. He has a Ginger Mackerel Tabby fur coat with low grade white spotting. He has white fur on the neck and paws, extending to a small white spot to the left of his nose. He has Hazel eyes, and his paw beans are pink.

In early appearances, Mr. Fresh was a lot skinnier. In more recent times, he is rather fat.

Mr. Fresh has been mistaken for other orange cats, including Mr. Normal and Mr. Piss.

Mr. Fresh first arrived to the feeder on June 19, 2023. He quickly rose to fame in the Chinese community for his funny habits.

On October 8th, 2023, a clip of Mr. Fresh was posted on TikTok, which ended up gaining quite a bit of traction.

His most famous video, in which he gives the "side eye" to the camera, was posted to TikTok on January 06, 2024. This video received millions of views and likes on the platform, and it was shared to many other social media websites, thus solidifying his presence in meme culture as the "side eye cat".

February 2024

• February 04, 2024: At 04:18 AM (LFT), Mr. Fresh was attacked by the snack machine and had a pile of dust from the almost empty machine piled on his head. This was a humiliating event for him but he continued to eat valiantly for a number of minutes afterward. Later, at approximately 04:43 PM (LFT), Mr. Fresh was mercilessly assaulted by Mrs. Kirby, causing him to flee Mount Kibble with great haste.
• February 07, 2024: At around 04:50 AM (LFT), Mr. Fresh seemed unwell after eating his meal. According to some experienced viewers he most likely went to puke off camera. We wish him a great recovery.
• February 10, 2024: At 08:52 PM (LFT), Mr. Fresh appeared for the first time at the Mr. Snack Feeder. He lingered for a few moments, before eating from the dispenser and then leaving at 08:54 PM (LFT)
• February 11, 2024: At 06:32 PM (LFT), Mr. Fresh appeared on his own feeder. Over 600+ people logged onto the stream and the snacks immediately increased as soon as he appeared, causing him to get snacked on.
• February 14, 2024: Mr. Fresh came in on Valentine's Day. The stream instantly got over 350 people watching once Mr. Fresh appeared, until later a stupid robot voice appeared resulting in a trash can being knocked down.
• February 15, 2024: Mr. Fresh came in again but didn't eat that much fresh food. The stream got over 360 viewers.
• February 16, 2024: Mr. Fresh came in and ate kibble for over ten minutes. Several donations were given and the stream got over 360 viewers. The same day, Mr. Fresh came again, resulting in the stream getting over 630 viewers. If you saw closely, Mr. Beef was looking through the window waiting to eat.

• February 17, 2024: Mr. Fresh was eating kibble. Suddenly, Mr. Beef came to the Mechanical Trap Room and Mr. Fresh was quite shocked, wandering around for sometime. He ate kibble again, but when he got out, he accidentally made the trap door fall, resulting in restricted access to the feeder. The same day, on 05:50 PM (LFT), a Human came and lifted the trap door.
• February 19, 2024: Mr. Fresh visited the feeder again, this time appearing to have suffered some sort of injury near the eye.
• February 20, 2024: At around 02:20 AM (LFT), Mr. Fresh appeared again, eye drainage worse and the area around the eye visibly reddened with irritation. Mr. Fresh was taken to the vet due to his eye injury.
• February 22, 2024: A post came out on the Street Cat app about Fresh getting his eye infection treated at the vet.
• February 26, 2024: Mr. Fresh was being fostered by one of the feeder's caretakers, while they were looking for someone suitable to adopt him.
• February 27, 2024: Mr. Fresh was adopted by someone nice as seen on a clip online from YouTube. He is off the streets and seems to be somewhere safer.

March 2024

• March 12, 2024: Mr. Fresh was seen on the on the Brother Fresh's Last Day stream. Due to him being adopted, the guardian of his feeder decided to put up a live stream.

Regarding the adoption arrangements for Mr. Fresh,

As of today, Mr. Fresh has been residing in the stray cat isolation room for 18 days. During this time, he has been carefully taken care of and accompanied by two experienced colleagues who are adept at raising cats. However, due to his long history of being a stray, Mr. Fresh still maintains a strong sense of wariness and does not allow people to approach him closely to other cats.

During this period, we have been maintaining active communication with the guardian. In last week's exchange, we learned that the guardian has found an adopter for Mr. Fresh and plans to take him to the adopter's home soon. As a platform, we will assist the guardian in formulating the adoption agreement and conduct a review of the adopter to ensure that Mr. Fresh can live safely, happily, and quietly in the future.

We are pleased to see that Mr. Fresh's mealtime scenes, captured by the cat house camera, have attracted the love of many supporters. Because of Mr. Fresh, everyone has begun to care for more stray cats. We have also noticed that many people in the cat community are calling for the hope to see Mr. Fresh on camera again.

To give everyone the opportunity to reunite with Mr. Fresh once more, before he is adopted, we have decided to place a cat house in the isolation room. Concerned friends of Mr. Fresh can visit the cat house labeled "Mr. Fresh's last day". The cat house is exclusively for Mr. Fresh, so please feed him rationally. Thank you for your support and understanding.

• March 13, 2024: Mr. Fresh was captured by his guardian or a vet, and the stream of Brother Fresh's Last Day was temporarily shut off for about thirty minutes before returning. At around 03:00 PM Mr. Fresh was given a cone of shame and forced to be checked out by a staff member or possible vet. After only 5 minutes he was let free again. The following text was posted by Hello Street Cat staff. Mr. Fresh will probably be on the "Last Day" stream for the following week.

The following post was made about Fresh's Adoption.

This afternoon, we took Mr. Fresh to the vet for a comprehensive pre-adoption examination. This examination revealed that he has Urinary Tract Stones and Cystitis due to long term wandering. The doctor recommended giving medicine first and returning in a week. In the next week, we will give him medicine and feed him prescribed food according to the doctors recommendation. Other exams are still waiting. After the results are back we will share them with everyone.

• April 01, 2024: Brother Fresh’s Exclusive Castle CatMojo feeder started, Mr. Fresh was seen by the community again.
• April 02, 2024: Around 01:57 AM (LFT). One of the earliest sightings of Mr. Fresh at his new feeder, coming by to watch the falling snacks being dispensed for him and drink some water. He later came by again at 08:48 PM (LFT) to eat up.
• April 12, 2024: At 12:44 PM (LFT), Mr. Fresh was seen drinking some broth, before shaking his head and leaving. His immaculate Aura left viewers speechless, even though he only had a minute of screentime.
• April 15, 2024: At 09:20 PM (LFT) Mr. Fresh was seen eating a late dinner for several minutes and then leaving.

• May 07, 2024: At 12:30 PM (LFT), Mr. Fresh was sighted indulging in some yummy kibble before retreating. Its nice to see that he's doing good!

• June 05, 2024: At 6:05 (LFT) Mr. Fresh greets his viewers at the Brother Fresh’s Exclusive Castle CatMojo feeder. He munches away at his mini hill of food for a couple of minutes before leaving. He just needed a little snack.
• June 13, 2024: At 12:20 (LFT) Mr. Fresh is to be seen from the top view. He doesn't eat however, and only sits there for a couple seconds. About 10 minutes later, Mr. Fresh is seen eating.

• August 27, 2024: Mr. Fresh was spotted at his feeder at 11:11 PM (LFT). He left a minute after he was spotted at 11:12 PM (LFT).

• October 10, 2024: Mr. Fresh appeared into the feeder some-time around 11:00 PM (LFT). Viewership skyrocketed at his grace, almost doubling what it had been. Mr. Fresh was seen eating for a couple minutes before teleporting away at 11:03 PM (LFT).

• February 12, 2025: Mr. Fresh was seen eating very close to the camera for a dozen seconds, a whopping 8 viewers watching at 3:49 AM (LFT). Mr. Fresh contentedly left after his short snack.

March 2025

• March 16, 2025: At 10:09 PM (LFT), Mr. Fresh appeared, ate very briefly, and left.
• March 25, 2025: At 7:41 AM (LFT), Mr. Fresh had breakfast for 2 minutes.
