Ms. Carpet is a tabby cat whose coat resembles a carpet, hence her name. She has only been spotted a few times at the Happy Canteen.
On her long awaited third appearance on June 7, 2024, she ate for a staggering 30 minutes, shocking everyone watching. This unexpected outcome proves anybody could become a Kibble Destroyer Champion, as she proudly took that title away from Mr. Beetle. With this impressive feat, Ms. Carpet firmly established herself as a rising star in the kibble consumption world, challenging the legacy of previous titleholders.
Behavior
She is a slightly skittish, rather feisty cat whose appetite rivals that of The Gluttonous Beast. Ms. Carpet appears to be curious of the feeder since she does not come around often and is fairly new. When confronted by another cat, she does not immediately flee like the others, and instead growls at them displaying her bravery and lack of cowardice but would still ultimately flee when attacked. While eating, she takes many breaks to stare outside of the feeder and can be seen looking over her shoulder from time to time, not in a very anxious manner but a little wary. Ms. Carpet also has a problem with staying at the feeder for too long, she holds up the line by loafing. She has absolutely no manners and does not understand feeder etiquette. Because of this, all the cats of Happy Canteen dislike her.
Appearance
Ms. Carpet has a fuzzy coat with a thin darker line running down her back. She also has notably large eyes and has a sad look whenever her head is angled downwards, which makes her very cute. Ms. Carpet’s fur also gives her a burnt appearance, resulting in her being called a burnt corndog or evil Goobert. She has a raccoon-like tail.
Sightings
May 2024
- May 05, 2024: Ms. Carpet’s first sighting.
- May 10, 2024: Ms. Carpet was spotted for a second time.
June 2024
- June 07, 2024: Ms. Carpet arrived at The Happy Canteen around 05:25AM (LFT) and proceeded to eat for a record breaking 30 minutes. After she finished gorging she loafed at the back of the feeder and growled at an unknown cat (presumably Mr. Rev)
- June 08, 2024: At 6:54 AM (LFT) Ms. Carpet once again arrived at the feeder. This time she stayed at the feeder for 28 minutes. She took many breaks from eating to stare outside and she finally left after growling at Ms. Puke. Later at around 1:58 PM (LFT) Ms. Carpet came by again to eat until Mr. Chicken intimidated her on 2:05 PM (LFT) so she had to make a tactical retreat. She returned again at 4:46 PM (LFT) and ate for 5 minutes before slowly leaving.
- June 09, 2024: Arrived at 3:33 AM (LFT), Ms. Carpet looked very sad as always while she sniffed around finding no snacks. Two minutes later, she was confronted by Goobert, who simply stared at her. Ms. Carpet slowly left shortly after eating some kibble. At 5:40 AM (LFT) Ms. Carpet returned and ate all the remaining kibble in the feeder.
- June 10, 2024: Ms. Carpet came at 5:21 AM (LFT) with one of the saddest face she could express when she looks around the feeder before dabbling a few kibble. She kept looking around the feeder, possibly being cautious as she wait for snacks to drop but left after staying for four minutes. She came back at 5:34 AM (LFT) sniffing the whole feeder looking desperate for snacks as she placed her paws where it would have dropped, which successfully appealed to a few donations.
- June 12, 2024: Ms. Carpet was spotted once more at about 8:00 AM (LFT).
- June 13, 2024: On 5:09 AM (LFT), Ms. Carpet arrived with the goal of consuming snacks. Five minutes later, she begins to loaf and stare at the cat outside the feeder who is presumed to be Mr. Beef while ignoring the snack drops. Once the coast was clear, she returned her attention to the snacks when it dropped again and slowly left at 5:42 AM (LFT).
- June 14, 2024: At 4:52 AM (LFT) Ms. Carpet entered the feeder. People were joyed with her appearance and they donated a bunch of chicken. At 5:08 AM Goobert was seen patiently waiting outside the feeder, Ms. Carpet noticed him and growled. She then continued to eat but at 5:18 AM Ms. Carpet turned around to growl at an unknown cat, but to her displeasure the cat started to growl back. A full blown verbal fight began. The new cat turned out to be Ms. Island. A couple of minutes later, the white and orange cat snuck up behind Ms. Carpet when she began to loaf. Ms. Island slowly continued forward, until all of her feet were in the feeder. She thought about smacking Ms. Carpet but decided to give her mercy. Ms. Carpet then realized another cat was there and sprinted out of the feeder at 5:25 AM. She was at the feeder eating for an astonishing 26 minutes and held up the line for 7 minutes, totaling 33 minutes.
- June 16, 2024: Ms. Carpet came at 4:55 AM (LFT) and became more fond of kibble. After awhile, she begins to beg for snacks and had successful results mostly whenever she touches the camera or the top of the feeder.
- June 17, 2024: On 5:45 AM (LFT) Ms. Carpet came to the feeder and ate some kibble as well as the few remaining snacks then proceeded to wait for another snack drop (unsuccessfully) but left when another cat came. She came back at 6:34 AM eating some kibble but slowly exited once no snacks were dropping. However, when she tried to do so, snacks were donated and she came back fast to eat them. This time after finishing the snacks Ms. Carpet didn't bother to wait and slowly left, only for another set of snacks dropped and she once again came back, faster than ever. She then got surprise rapid punches from Mr. Beef which is a que for her to leave.
(Not every cat sighting is documented.)
